Playing it on the switch port atm and it's a phenomenal game.

Not trying to be superficial, I found the mechanics interesting but lacking in diversity overall. The emotional aspect does not fill that void for me.
Too old, too cold I guess.

Played some indie games
- 112 Operator (ok, but I won't play it for too long)
- Not for Broadcast (first chapter in early access, very recommended)
- Bug Academy (only 5 bucks, for a good laugh. Pretty cute game)
- Procession to Calvary (hilarious, Monty Python-esque adventure, not very long though)
- The Shattering (walking simulator, very linear, but delivers a good 'experience')
Gonna try Dread Nautical now, a turn based, post apocalyptic RPG on a cruise ship. Seems perfect for these Corona times

FO76....
I got the 59.99 bundle. Level 10. Enjoying it so far, but playing it as if it was a SP game.
For all the complaints about the in-game store.....the store itself sucks....

There is also Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 to drop in the MC collection.
On topic, I recently played Bayonetta for the first time and I loved it. I mean the fan service was a little bit too much, but the story was cool and the gameplay was awesome, better late than never I guess. I also finished the "story mode" of Hitman (2016), not much to say about that, I guess the community quests and the elusive contracts are cool, but I was not very impressed overall. It's good though because my backlog is getting smaller, but still there are 100+ games left in there that I want to try, plus more are coming out with a ferocious pace .
Yesterday I started replaying Alan Wake on Nightmare difficulty and I'm enjoying very much the story, the atmosphere and the setting which is heavily inspired by Twin Peaks.

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut
When I played the vanilla version at launch I had a very good time with it, despite the second half of the game being plagued by serious balance issues and various post-apocalyptic annoyances that made me put it on hold. After 60ish hours spent taking care of unhealthy amounts of synths and silly fanatics like a benevolent-yet-ruthless nihilistic exterminator I just finished the DC. It was a blast (also in the literal sense)
While some rough bits are still there, it fixes most of the problems that the original release had by also introducing quite a few QoL improvements, better combat system/micromanagement and a nice visual overhaul. The game in my opinion deserves to sit among the greats of the cRPG world, both when it comes to scope and actual influence that your choices have on the virtual wastelands. The art of diplomacy is underdeveloped, but the good writing and ability to often tackle quests in multiple ways contribute to boosting the immersion factor, and no one really stops you from going on a rampage in the name of the atom (RIP God's Militia, whatever you were trying to accomplish there). Definitely recommended *Echo One over*

Haha yeah, Underrail is great as well. I still have that old playthrough to finish, but I was waiting for Expedition to come out and then..I just forgot about it. *soon-ish*

I really couldn't get into Underrail (with the expansion).. i really wanted. The graphics are not the least atmospheric i think, takes me out of the experience too much.. the graphics are really ultra-clean.. i prefer Fallout 2 (modded, and in higher res) any day of the week graphically...

AC: Origins
For about 2 weeks now, waaaaay too much (I'm around 100 hours in). Excellent game, and this is my first taste of the franchise. I hear that Odyssey is even better, but I'm gonna take a rest after finishing this one so that I don't get bored with the formula.
Really looking forward to Valhalla.

I think general consensus was, Origins > Odyssey.
Altho I think it really depends, at what point in their life, you actually played them.
I played Origins last year, long after it's "life cycle" had ended, i.e. fully updated, etc. and de-microstor'ed, lol and I had a blast.
When they are released, people complain about the grind and exp booster and stuff, but once that stuff got changed/removed, it's almost the contrary. I had to stop myself from doing too many Sidequests, as to not totally out level the content, lol. Just glad there is the scaling option, otherwise it wouldn't be half as fun.
I still have the DLC's open in Origins, anyone can tell me, if they are worth reinstalling?

Same here, stopped doing most side quests around lvl 25ish. I'm lvl 52 now and the game is too easy unfortunately, even with auto scaling. However, up until now, I had an absolute blast.
I grabbed the latest version with both DLCs. They aren't as good as the main game, even though many seem to praise Curse of the Pharaohs. I don't find it very good, tbh. Sure, there's a twist to the usual formula, but the challenge and the curiosity are lacking.

Lotr shadow of war DE
Didnt expect much since ppl seemed to passionately hate this one upon release. But i must say so far (second map) i am enjoying it quite a lot.
In 1440p HDR this also still looks pretty for todays standards imo

The same thing as with AC, at release, it was microstored (leg. war bosses, etc), but once that was all patched out, the game is really fun.

I really liked playing the yarr version. Not sure how different it's from the original. People said the latter was super grindfest and the store was too aggressive. But tbh I also like grinding for a nice "pokeorc" in the arena and spent quite some time battling them. Also didn't mind fighting lots of lieutenant orcs for items or "pokeorc farming".
