Wondering if there's issue with my pc somewhere or not. Got it workin smoothly as
i ripped the cables off but when starting world tour it gets to loading screen, announces
me an error report with no specific reason given ( u know the windows bs, when u have options to send or not to send the report )
and quits to desktop. Alright, rebooted the machine and now gave it a try

Anyone else experiencing such issues or should i be looking into it from my side?
PC is fresh and so far its been simple, every game has played fine, so i was
pretty concerned when a game doesent work its badly cracked / bad clone ( my theory actually worked, games which didnt run got nuked/repacked Smile )

God what a boring game. Mounting the image in Daemon Tools and watching StarFarce fail again was more exciting.

Can't get it working with DVD/CD devices plugged in, maybe I will try it without, will check it out, disabling them in BIOS should also work I think...

Tried it here, and it didn't worked, will check later if it is working.

BTW, anyone tried the unprotected demo exe? The first Honda release was unprotected, they recalled the demo and put a new one on the web. I deleted my unprotected one, but maybe another one can try it out Wink

decided to give the game another chance and just had a mess about

http://www.snoop1050.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/toca3.wmv if you cant watch it you prob need the ASF codec ,blame windows media encoder.
all settings maxed with 2xaa and 8x af video isnt downsized to make it look better i had fraps set to record at halfsize and graphics dont really look that great anyway imo.

physics seem kinda cool on my handbrake turn lol ,the flaming exhause near the start looks pretty cool to and no its not slow motion the car is really that slow Laughing

Do you have a MS FFB wheel by any chance ???. I have the same problem since RD2 and i cant believe codemasters didn't fix it in RD3.

Anyway the solution to your problem is: After you start up RD3 press Ctrl Alt Del.

Right click on RD3.exe in the proceslist (the second tab) and select priority one notch higher. This will solve your freeze problem. It a know issue since RD2 and it's game related and not crack/clone related.

You'll have to do this everytime you start the game

Edit: I was planning to buy this game , so i could play online but as i just found out this morning the clone lets you play only too because there no cd key Very Happy Very Happy

Yep, it s*cks big time.
Also in Race Driver 2 I had the feeling taking the corners where 'scripted', the corners felt exactly the same/the car reacted always the same way when you took the corners.

disabling the ide channel my drives are on works for me ,if it doesnt work for you then you are probably turning the wrong ide channel off.

windows doesnt know the drives exist if you disable the ide channel its exactly the same as pulling the ide cable out the drive.

if windows doesnt know the ide channel exists starforce cant know there is any cd drives Rolling Eyes

TRD3 demo exe was starforce protected

When installing, my comp restarted
When loading track, game crashed to Windows
Well, gameplay fell exacly like TRD2, graphic is similar...
I won't give it 7 GB my hdd space... Rolling Eyes
