Well, yeah.. in some forums. Stay away from the "misc" "relationship help" and any other part of the site that doesn't deal with dieting and supplements. I find that in the serious threads, people generally know their shit and don't look kindly on people being idiots just to be idiots.

Most of what as been said is true,But ya don't have to eat huge amounts of food to gain weight.
Every few hours eat carbs and protien+fruit and veg.

There is simply no point in trying to eat a full chicken in one go.
Your body can only absorb a certain amount of protien in any one time, and as the digestive time is around four hours for each meal.hence eat food every 3-4 hours.

Also have good training routine, and leave ya ego at home.
And don't bother with steroids.
I can whup most of gear users at my gym.(NO GEAR HERE)

why not steroids.........down to personal choice......
same as most things aslong as you dont abuse them.

im of a small frame myself was around 10 stone ,,,,with good eating and training regular and using
steroids i put on 2 stone in about 8 months.......
and looked great.........the downside of this is that you lose quite a lot when you stop taining a while...
im not saying that other people should use them only that it worked for me...........

You don't need steroids to grow. A food schema combined with a training schema and some hard work will get you there as well. Perhaps some supplements like protein shakes or BCAA.

When you post body weights in a formula that is only used by a small part of the world, you're gonna have confused people. Please use kilo's that's universal and easy to convert.

Doesnt the Strong Man competition go by "stones" in terms of weight? obviously its kilograms, but im talking like commentator slang, they say stone to right? I know ive heard it somewhere.

As for the imperial or metric, in Canada we are metric, but I dont use the metric system - well, only for weather and the speedlimits. Cm's, Mm's, M's etc fuck that....in my industry, eveything is still imperial like the americans, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 and sometimes 1/64 and then it goes by inches and feet.

I think the metric system sucks to be honest. I cant look at say a piece of steel and say "oh, thats 35 cm's long" or thats "2.75mm wide" (like the fuckin blue prints i have to convert.
But, I can look at something and so "yeah, thats 5 1/4 long" ...I usually get my estimates to within an 1/8th, by eye....its so much simpiler writing/eyeing out 2 3/4 inches(2 and 3/4 quarter inches long/wide, whatever) rather than the metric equivalent, which i cant think of at the moment...brain dead this morning.

As a student of science I pretty much use the metric system for everthing. It's so much easier to use especially when you're working with any major positive or negative values.

yep, using the imperial system for science is just a hassle, any systems that dont have 10 as their base are just ridiculous.

I can understand. It's all about education. I have been thought math with the metric system and it's the system that is used here. I've been working with it since I've been young so It's quite easy for me to judge something using that system. It's all about what you're used to I guess.

It depends on your age to a certain degree, as they've been phasing out use of the imperial system in the last decade.
