Dark Matter - 5.5/10
Based on a true story, and not much happens, until the end, so it's a slow burner, but quite funny before the inevitable. Meryl Streep looking rather aged now.
In Fear - 6/10
Didn't know what to make of this?, but it's Irish/British filming lured me in. Not bad, but asks more questions than it ever answers.

Donovan's Echo - 6/10
I like Danny boy, but he seems weary in this, and it got 2/3rd through before I'd realised, I had watched this before Not bad, for the second time.
Cold Pursuit - 2/10
The worst crap I have ever seen Liam in, honestly! Typecast he is, but this is just utter stinking piss. Bad acting all round, laughable plot, and all kinds of tripe involved in here, avoid. The '2' is because I like Mr Neeson, and he's a descendant of mine.

Backtrack - 6.5/10
Good performances all round, and a great story from the Aussies.
The Nesting (2015) - 5/10
Strange flick that has its moments, but it's a slow burner.

Fractured (2018) - 7.5/10 (not the Sam Worthington version)
Good twists and turns in this, not bad at all. Flick is only 1hr 18mins, which is a shame, as I was enjoying it.
The Landlord - 4.5/10
Irritating cast, and only just watchable.

Gretel and Hansel - 7/10 for trying
It's a very theatre play movie in every aspect. A very slow burn, nice cinematography, weird costumes and sets.

This was a nice surprise, indeed. Going in expecting a mainstream, Van Helsing, so bad it becomes good/funny kind of trash.
The story is of course based on the known story, but the performances and cinematography pulled it to a higher level.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

The Lodge: 1/10 ...only a ONE because I actually watched the entire movie. I have no idea why. Maybe another shower scene with that chick. Just a shit bore fest all around movie. No wonder Silverstone had only 10 seconds of screentime.Smart girl. Trash all around. Avoid at all costs

Blackcoat's Daughter - 7/10
Finally watched it after yet another fappening about it by RLM's Jay. And it's another slooooow burn from Oz Perkins. It's not really scary but it's a nice psychological horror, could be more ambiguous in the end.

What did I watch tonight?, oh yeah...cant even mind, lol...
The Monster (2016) - 6.5/10
I enjoyed this. Was really entertaining, but the 'monster' should really have been her mother, for treating a small child like that, maybe that was the point?, dunno? lol, pretty good hour and a half anyway. < this in no way spoils the film BTW.
Imprint (2007) - 2.5/10
Tosh! Utter tosh, TV dramas are better.

1917, 8.5/10, impressive movie, a bit hollywooded though, but the one-shotish feel worked well for it.
PC: Yes. Console: No.
