yeah, tried it out. seems ok.
i like the feel of the city. movements are a bit slow. i mean like the character runs slow and so on.
fighting system has a couple of easy combos, with grabs and power attacks.
the spraying part seems a bit too easy. but otherwise than that it seems to be an ok game. especially the gfx layout or what to call it is pretty nice.

I gave this a go earlier on and was pleasantly surprised, wouldn't go as far as to say its amazing but when I first heard about the project I fully expected a game which would value style over substance and a series of different game modes i.e. fighting, tagging and platforming incoherently bonded together to form a poor-below average game - a game that would be riddled with opportunistic advertising, product placement and poorly done celeb voices.
From what I played of the game though it seemed fairly solid, they did a nice job of wrapping up all the various components of gameplay into a seamless and enjoyable experience in much the same vein as Rockstar did with "The Warriors" although that game is obviously far superior and more about fighting. I found the story in Marc Eckos appealed to me, nice music as others pointed out, loads to collect in terms of unlockables (songs etc) and graphics are decent. The style of the cinematics/game, story telling and overall mood are where it scores highly for me and having only played the game for a few hours before moving onto something else I know there was more than enough to make me come back to this one at a later date.
I'd also agree with those that said it has absolutely nothing in common with Jet Set Radio or Jet Set Radio Future. The only similarity is the tagging and even thats different in Marc Eckos i.e. in JSR you tag by a series of quick timer combo button presses and in JSRF they decided to ruin the system by simply making tagging done with the press of a single button, obviously in Marc Eckos the tagging is totally different and probably more complex. The story could perhaps be considered similiar i.e. corrupt police and shady organisations with rival gangs, those are fairly generic story ideas though and when they were done in JSR they were done in such a quirky and original way that its hard to truely draw comparisons between the story elements within that and Marc Eckos.
Oh and yeah comparing the PC game to the console version this game is frigging horrible on a PC, plays like a bad port, horribly mapped keys (the sort of thing only an Octopus could appreciate), the mouse acceleration and camera controls were awful and the graphics/textures look rough for a PC game. Not to mention the several scattered times throughout playing where the game would minimise to the desktop for no apparent reason and some of the flickering textures on tags even with latest drivers.
I'd probably agree with the reviews that I've seen so far high 7's, low 8's seems about right for the CONSOLE version.

this game is actually pretty damn good im on the level in the street outside the meat factory theres 4 tags to cover but i cant get to the 2 way up high anyone can help me plz?? and the cops drive me mad
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

if you mean the one near the CCK car/van/bus/whatever and the one up at the balcony then I might be able to help you.
Next to the CCK vehicle is a fence you can climb over. Then there's a pipe. you should be able to find the way from there

I'm quite impressed by this game. Graphics are pretty sweet and quite a good balance between tagging and fighting guys. The story and such isn't something I enjoy that much and the music is not my cup of tea, but still and enjoyable game for now.
