The good ol' Severance: Blade of Darkness with the Barbarian, works perfectly fine on modern systems as long as vsync is enabled and the Voodoo 1-2 renderer is selected in order to run nGlide. It's possible to use both downsampling and Reshade as well (with the d8tod9 converter), giving better results than any other ghetto mod.
Still a great game with its dense atmosphere, complex level design, dynamic lighting/shadows (pretty cutting-edge back then ), glorious locational dismemberment and combat system where each weapon has its own specific moveset/combo. The controlling method and camera are on the loose/rough side and the enemy variety is so-so (especially in the second half), but the game hasn't lost its Grandpa Souls charm

The only problem is you can't run it in widescreen... or has there been some progress in modding that in as well? |
Sadly no..I've searched everywhere but apparently no one has been able to pull off the miracle, the only options are still the usual 4:3 with bars and the stretched forced widescreen.

Somehow my son and my friends talked me into spinning up a Feed The Beast minecraft server on my rented deti box, and now I am back to putting WAY too much time into that game.
Think it started by talking about factorio and Satisfactory. And how we love factorio for its random maps but not 3d, and Satisfactory is 3d, but would be much better if it had random gen maps...and one thing lead to another and the question of "Wait don't you have that box you run stuff on for us?...".
So now I have spent the last week setting up my massive quarry to mine 10's of 1000's of ores to put in my AE2 network and autocraft with..

My second playthrough for War for the Overworld and the campaigns for Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition. Which for AoE, I see difficulty spikes at the last 1 or 2 missions of each campaign. I don't remember them being this bad in the previous versions. Really hard to build up your army while trying to focus on the economy with anywhere from 3-5 factions attacking at you in the first 9 minutes.

Being cooped up indoors gets my ADD going so CIV6 has been working well for multi-tasking while doing my job from home.

Currently playing My Ex Boyfriend The Space Tyrant and Dream Daddy. Both are great but placeholders for the upcoming FO76 DLC.

Just installed Mount&Blade II Isodemo and patched it up, so going to check that one out.
While also the daily diddling around in WoW.
Microsoft gamepass finally ran out after months and months so time to play some other games again
