I hate when franchises/characters are ruined or marred by SJW degenerates or their politics.
When they create their own stuff, it is less annoying. You can easily ignore them. But let's say I play Baldur's Gate 2 and hear Minsc trolling me about Gamergate, it annoys me to no end. Or games like Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect Andromeda or again, BG2:EE, which have aggressively gay characters that are ready to ravage your ass if you make one wrong dialogue choice ... I feel like I must not drop the soap every time I am talking to them.

That being said, DA2 was a shite game, I never played Andromeda and neither did I play the EE edition of BG2 but where does it say Minsc was gay? I heard about one(!) transgender character but not about Minsc being gay. I shall replay the game.
That said 2nd, I‘m not a fan of sjw politics in my games/series/movies either simply because to my 80ies/90ies ass it breaks immersion (or, in your case, your ass) and often feels tacked on.

I do kind of want to flag the whole “violence against women” aspect of Nemesis, and of the game in general, as it’s hard to deny it’s a theme, or that it’s presented with at least a little relish. I realise it’s completely unreasonable to single out RE3 for this when, y’know, *gestures at the entire history of the horror genre*. And in fairness, you play as trigger-happy mercenary Carlos for a good portion of the game, so you get to see loads of lingering close ups of a man’s neck getting devoured like a late night burger, too.
But… yeah. There were moments while playing when I just felt uncomfortable. Jill isn’t too obviously a vessel for anyone’s fetishes, but realistic as she is, she’s clearly designed to be sexy. And she spends an awful lot of time being hurled into things, slapped about, grunting in pain, being asphyxiated, and either struggling to force assailants off her, or being graphically murdered by them. There was one particularly rough bit where one of the previously mentioned spider monsters strangled her with tentacles, then rammed a bigger tentacle down her neck to pump her full of parasites. Watching back through my capture footage for screenshots, I could hear myself mutter “not cool, man” into my headset. And it doesn’t happen to Carlos.

And in DA2 you get bullfucked if you want to, that scene became a meme. In Mass Effect Andromeda I made one hasty choice with a totally innocuous dialog text and I missed the "heart" icon. So the rest of that chapter everyone was winking and laughing about my new gay romance. Also, gays on the ship come on to me when they catch me alone. A friend was playing the game recently (a month ago) with me watching and he also started laughing about it when that "muh feefees" alien started doing his thing. He was weirded out.
I am talking about very specific things in games that I have finished and have paid attention to all dialog.

@VGAdeadcafe But that wasn’t DA2, with this Bull it was DA3 (I never played it due to bad reviews) Anyway, these are old stories. Even DA1 had gay romance options, it was still an awesome game and I never had issues with it since I‘m not tempted by the gay and I don‘t suffer from gay rape fantasies either. BG2 was awesome even before EE which, again have not touched. Maybe this one dialog will ruin the game maybe it wont.

Although I don't really read this topic a lot, some of these posts just look like a bad joke; moments and situation like these I am thankful I live in a shithole and this "evolved" thinking hasn't had such a big impact on the culture I'm accustomed to.
