I have the download about 24 hours now but i cant play it.
It keeps saying i have an emulator on.
And when i try to use cureROM it wont help much.. maybe im using it wrong or something?
Can anyone please help me..

Make sure you are selecting the correct EXE and not the Loader EXE

Just mount in Daemon 4.03 and use AntiSecuROM AntiBacklist-fixer and direct it to the StarWars sweaw.exe executable.
No need (least for me) to use any other util such as CureROM etc.
Game isn't worth the hype/hassle tbh.

I can't get it to work either. I have tried everthing:
Mounted with DT 4 and :
1. Curerom...nothing worked. I keep getting an error that Curerom can not start Anti-blacklist measures.
2. Sr7.Stop and Pr0t.Stop....nope. Keeps saying "Nothing to hide"
3. Anti-blah (for the hell of it)...nothing
I had the curerom program set to the data/sweaw.exe (not the loader)...still nothing
I am ready to give up....
I am trying to run this one: Star.Wars.Empire.At.War.CloneDVD-MiRROR
any other ideas?

Same problem, I got Curerom running and the game still won't load (yes I picked the correct EXE).

Using Daemon Tools 4.03 HE, CureROM 1.03b, with it set to 3 seconds, the main executable, and the main executable in Win2000 Compatibility Mode, I can get it to launch perhaps ONCE out of 10-15 tries. This is truly fucked up.
Also, all my opticals are disconnected.
Someone want to enlighten me as to why it will launch on try 3, but not on try 10? I'm at a loss here.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

take the bwa/bwt from CD Mirror Release, mount it with alc or DT in CUreRom, works.

That will only work if YOU HAVE the CD version of the game. The DVD release is all kinds of **** up., mind as well wait for Deviance to work its magic.

Well,
I used some anitsecurerom program and got the loading screen to come up. But then it just freezes...nothing happens.
I have to alt/det/cntl to get out.
Any ideas on that one?

I have downloaded Star.Wars.Empire.At.War.CloneDVD-MiRROR and cant get it to run i have the newest version of Daemon Tools and i have tried AntiSecuRom and Curerom with the same results.. nothing. I got it to rund once but only once, i dont know what do to.
Damn shitty clones everyone is different.

Finally I was able to get the .mds ) and made it work this way
use cureROM when creating the profile select I dont want to use any Virtual cd/dvd ... the rest leave it as it is (mount the mds Manuaally usind D tools 4)
finally when the profile is over slect the icon cureRom creates and set it to compatibility mode with windows 2000 works every time now i tested in two different pcs and worked great

Ey i found an solution, i downloaded AntiSecuROM and used it to open it and it works perfect! i whould recommend it for sure!

SecuROM Loader is i believe the proper name, AntiSecurom is the name of the file inside.

Securom burner loader maybe? I tried that one but get error that emulation device is detected or something like that. If is start EAW with curerom, it starts but within 1-2 minutes it gives the following error:
An exception has occured. See _logfile.txt and _except.txt for details. Press cancel to exit or retry to debug.
When i go to _except.txt it says this:
Exception in thread DF4 - LoadThread
Exception code EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.
Attempt to read from address 7FFE2E58
What now?

Still can't get it to work...everytime I try that Curerom..I get an error sayting that Curerom cannot start antiblack list measures. Everytime....
When I use the securerom loader...I get the load screen...but then it freezes.
this is nuts!

) but i can't confirm if this works or not.
didn't think this was possible with Securom but i'm not complaining. So if you got the DVD version this is the easiest way to get it running and avoid all the pissing about.
