I'm "only" 30yo and its pretty much the same thing here... I was playing CoD Warzone the other day and I couldnt keep up with the other dude I was shootin, and then I was wtf at how fucking letargic is my aim Laughing
Last month I've decided to replay Doom '16 on nightmare and I was surprised how much i' ve got my ass kicked too lmao

Hi, got a quick question:
I've got a GeForce GTX 770, can I run Eternal? Even on low? According to CanYouRunIt, I match all the minimum requirements except the video card;
Required You Have
Pixel Shader 5.1 5.0
Vertex Shader 5.1 5.0
Dedicated Video RAM 3 GB 4.0 GB

I've ran games like that before, but since I'm thinking about buying this one, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

GTX 770 has pixel shader 5.1 as far as I remember, right?

I think you should be good but it will have to be at a low/medium settings and probably 1080p at best.

If you can, wait and try the isodemo first before buying it.

Also CanYouRunIt is kinda of a trash site for these kind of things, I know that it's the first search result and all, but some of their results are really suspect Laughing

Yeah, I've just uploaded my PC specs there and was scrolling the list, and it says I can't run Control or Surge 2 or DS Genesis, and I've ran those games on medium just fine. So I'm kinda conflicted about it, but it may actually run. Thankls!

Also I remember that the first Doom used to have some kind of issues with Nvidia cards pre 9xx series (it was fixed later on), so yeah if you can wait and try the isodemo first, just to be sure.

GTX 770 release date is May 30, 2013, so it's quite a while ago, lol.

Haha, I said that because I noticed the text above that says:

You have - Pixel Shader 5.0
Required - Pixel Shader 5.1

And I was sure that 770 has 5.1, so I decided to clear up the mistake Razz

Just a quick update: according to CanYouRunIt, I can't run Darksiders Genesis even on medium; I just played an hour of it on Ultra @ 60 fps, so yeah, that site is bunk.
I also bought Eternal for 41eu, and will refund it if it doesn't work, but it SHOULD, so I guess wish me luck. Also, thanks for the advice Ke1N40.

Previous Doom runs 60fps on 1080p high settings with the GTX 770 2GB, so expect the same here, maybe mix of medium-high, IDtech engine is so nicely optimized.

I am so excited for Doom Eternal because it comes with a Doom 64 remaster (and it has a new episode, too!)

I don't give too much of a fuck for the actual game

I think realistically we can expect a 98% chance that its gonna be bundled with the fuckin D. Bethesda has just lifted the review embargo for Doom Eternal and confirmed Denuvo presence in the game. Bethesda has not clarified whether it will remove it at its launch. This could be possible as thatโ€™s exactly what happened with RAGE 2. However, and since Wolfenstein: Youngblood is still using Denuvo, Iโ€™m pretty sure that Bethesda will keep Denuvo in Doom Eternal for a while. Despite that, Doom Eternal runs silky smooth in 4K and Ultra Nightmare settings on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080Ti. In addition, the single-player campaign is playable in offline mode. Yeap, PC gamers can enjoy Doom Eternal's single-player campaign without the need to connect to the Internet!

can't tell if sarcasm or optimism.. denuvo requires connection to the internets periodically.

kind of interested in doom eternal here, cant make up my mind if i want to wait for the pirate edition or buy it and put up with betheshit launcher.
