For the first time in the official videogame’s history, players are able to race in F1 and F2 cars in F1 2019, out now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC!
Ahead of an update that gives players access to the full 2019 season, check out this preview of what F2 is all about, featuring insight from drivers and commentators from the series.
A free week is now underway on Steam for F1 2019, allowing an extended test drive of this Windows open-wheel racing simulation (thanks SteamDB via Ant). You can check it out between now and March 19th, and the game is also on sale for the duration for 70% off
I hope I survive 2020 ffs
One thing that would be a shame if we don't get F1 this year... won't see Mercedes DAS system being used in anger. Doubt they would move the 21 regulations to the next year. :/
Australian fires, Coronavirus, locust swarm with hailstorm and flood combo in Egypt, economy crashes coming soon... And just 3 months in. By the end of the year we will be in the Mad Max world where F1 cars will be useless.
So after testing the whole god damn weekend,
finally yesterday evening I managed to do more then one lap without freezing.
When I set my refresh rate of my monitor to 60 Hz then my game doesn't crash.
What can I do about this cause I've got an 200 Hz monitor and my PC can go up to +144FPS easily?
Don't forget the grid changes and updated line-ups for the 2020 season: no Hamilton, no Bottas, no Vettel either, Stoffel Vandoorne will be back, and Lando Norris will be replaced by Jimmy Broadbent!
they should have go rather for some special edition with past seasons... maybe add some classic season like 2007. It does not look god with F1 2020 in real life and I doubt there will be any race this season...

They should add Lando and Max trashing the game as commentary. :>
Buckle up… here’s *everything* you can look forward to with F1® 2020’s features trailer! Are you ready?
Get all the details here:
Deeper F2™ Integration
Choose from a full season, half season, or three-race F2™ experience, before getting started on your 10-season driver career.
We’re also adding the 2020 F2™ season as a free update later in the year.
Shorter Season Options
F1® 2020 is all about giving you more ways to play. One is shorter season options. Choose between the original and full 22 race season (including Hanoi Circuit and Circuit Zandvoort), or shorter 10 or 16 options. Now you can focus on the tracks you really enjoy.
Rear-view mirror
Not only have we given you more options to play F1® 2020, we’ve also been listening to your feedback from previous games. This year, we’re introducing a rear-view mirror to help you race wheel-to-wheel against your opponents.
Customisable OSD
Want to move your circuit map somewhere else? Change where your rear-view mirror sits? Move everything to wherever you’d like on screen!
Simplified ERS
Based on feedback from F1® drivers, we’ve simplified the ERS to make it more realistic. All you need to do to activate it is press a button!
Podium Pass
New to F1® 2020, the Podium Pass allows to you Race, Earn and Unlock. Each season you’ll be able to unlock free customisation items by racing in your favourite game modes and earning XP. Custom cosmetic items include car liveries, race equipment such as gloves, overalls and helmets, and podium emotes. Want even more customisation? You’ll be able to purchase the VIP upgrade to gain access to higher-level rewards and additional in-game challenges.
Pre-ordered F1® 2020? You’ll receive enough credit to unlock Season One VIP, and each season will contain enough currency to purchase the following VIP Podium Pass.
Played some My Team and was a bit surprised: could sign Antoine Hubert driving for my team.
Bit weird, but nice tribute I guess. So I signed Toin for the feels.
They really are taking this game in a crap direction with their unlocks and pitcoins though.
Funny 'glitch': Bought the super duper pooper edition in Argentine, comes with 15k pitcoins. Apparently you even get that currency when you family share the game.
Btw, did they diddle with the difficulty again?
I started in FP1 with medium difficulty (think I set it at 60) A.I. just to see where I would land. I was 3 seconds ahead of Hamilton in first place. Trying to balance it out because of the new feature of your own team.
Starting a new team I'd think I should battle between place 20 and 16 in the first season.
