Resolution in Windows can change for plethora of reasons. For example, disconnecting a display. When I switch my display's source from DP to HDMI, I know the internal resolution changes, because I see things move. Likewise, if playing on a laptop, connecting an external display changes the resolution. Opening and closing the lid when an external display is connected changes the resolution. Clearly a lot of people are doing it, or they wouldn't have prioritized this. Don't be so narrow-minded and consider a much broader audience than the nfohump crowd.

Those are two very legitimate use-cases of laptops. The game SHOULD NOT CRASH. Mocking use-cases you don't think of or don't understand is beside the point here completely.
Yep i have a ps4, pc, iptv and whatnot connected to my tv and i was wondering why rdr was crashing when i was switching the hdmi cable between pc and ps4. (My old ass tv has only 2 ports so i have to switch often )

I have 2 monitors and a TV connected to my pc, main monitor for gaming, TV for Plex/netflix and 2nd monitor in pivot mode for browsing or watching vids while gaming. Sometimes all of these things are running at the same time and there shouldn't be any problems.
I bit the bullet and bought it a month or so ago, well worth money imo. It's not a perfect port, had a few crashes in the beginning.
After finishing the story, online can be fun if you find people to fuck around with. Lassoing players and throwing them off a bridge will never get old on a drunk night.

Indeed, this is the very first time I see NPCs not actively trying to fuck your shit up.. the number of times I end up triggering some random NPC and have to deal with some kind of bullshit bounty because of it.. wish this happened more often !
Perhaps NPCs are more willing to lend you a hand with high honor - or the opposite, "bad" NPCs helping you in your criminal activities when you're low on honor. Dunno !
