agreed, even if you playted OFP when it came out, it's now practically a new game when you apply dxdll and get some of the mods and missions
ranging from american civil war to command & conquer to vietnam to mechas
fdfmod is especially well made
i also found the terminator mod very moody and ballsy to play as a T800 - although lacking in missions and gameplay variety
vampire bloodlines was a really enjoyable fps/rpg
what deus ex 2 was supposed to be
just make sure you get the official 1.2 and latest unofficial patch for it before you start
it was veeeeeeeeeery buggy
there aren't any good new games that i'd even play beyond the first level
the new need for speed is the last one i actually finished (had to use a trainer in the end though)
i think rome: total war was the last one before that
get the total realism mod for it to double the gameplay value

you might even find resistance for even less from those cheapo bins
but i kinda doubt it - being as old as it is
or you could just wait for the new one to come out - Arm Ass (yes, i love the short name)
or "armed assault" as they officially tout it
a standalone game and supposedly can run all ofp mods
to be released as soon as they find someone to publish it

hmm, you did.. only place i really got frustrated was the racing part.. I did it after 8 tries of so, damn i was unlucky sometimes -.- |
i believe the race difficulty was fixed in a patch
blitzkrieg 2 takes a while to finish
