To Change all settings ingame change the line .bMenusExtrasActivo 0 to 1 in JuegoVer.cfg
and/or if u want to save ingame change .bLoadSaveEnable 0 to 1

Resolution etc does work fine here, you can change it in the same file as above written.

PC: Yes. Console: No.

Yeah, Works fine here too.. By the way the demo is protected with SecuROM 7.00.00.0009
so you can expect at least a clone , when this game is released.

this game doesn't work for me :s I keep getting the error: A required security module can not be activated.this program can not be executed.

Tried to google it, this problem seems to be caused by cd emulators. i uninstalled daemon tools but the game still doesn't run. anyone else has this problem, and better yet, a solution?

Demo extra's :

Open the config folder in your commandos directory, then open the file JuegoVer.cfg (with something like wordpad) and change these lines:

.resolution ( 1280.000000 1024.000000 )
.resolutionNTSC ( 1280.000000 1024.000000 )

Those are originally set to 800 and 600, change them to your desired resolution. While you are at it you can change these as well:

.bMarketingWhenExit 0
.bLoadSaveEnable 1

.bMenusExtrasActivo 1

Their use is quite self explanatory.

Additionally if you want to another difficulty make sure you have bLoadSaveEnable set to 1. That way you can create a profile (this way your settings in the options menu will be stored in a profile as well). If you want an extra difficulty level go to "my documents" there's a folder called CSF_data, open profile with wordpad then change this line COMMANDO_DIF or smth by setting it to 1. Smile

Ok finaly played the demo, I was bussy setting up Empire at War Smile
I must say...so so. Much to arcadish for my taste...at least the level they released in the demo. Lets hope for a better full game, at least worth a go.

there are 2 levels, 1st one with lots of action and second one with lots of steath, so which level do you have in mind? i liked this demo alot.

Oh great, they kept the bad stuff from Commandos and removed the good stuff :rolleyes:

I really really really hate WW2 games, but I liked the "timing is everything" part (get unit 1 to do this, unit 2 does this after unit 1 is finished, unit 3 does this when enemy arrives, etc)
So now they have kept the boring overused WW2 theme, while destroyed the "timing is everything" part of the game Sad

Desperados was much better than Commandos in every way, so I hope the 3D part of Desperados 2 doesn't ruin the game :scared:

The demo always crashes with a blue screen and something about nv4_disp.dll. I already tried the official 81.98 drivers and the beta 82.12 drivers. I hope this will be fixed in the full game or with the next driver release because when it worked for a short time it didn't look bad. Sad

edit: It works with 78.01!
