					| Cannibal Corpse is sick, for sure. Wicked ass band. Well, wicked live band. Their cd's get kinda redundant - kill this, rape that etc

yeah, lyrics are redundant as hell. the drummer is the one who pisses me off the most... its like listenin to ac/dc, same drum beat on every song. guitar riffs/structure is awesome tho.

					| SOTU is supposed to rival Ozzfest. This is what Ozzfest is going to look like this year
  	  | Quote: | | The line-up has been revealed for this years "Ozzfest", here's how it looks: Main Stage:
 Ozzy Osbourne
 System Of A Down
 Disturbed
 Hatebreed
 Lacuna Coil
 "Monster Energy" Second Stage Headliners:
 Black Label Society
 Atreyu
 Unearth
 Bleeding Through
 Norma Jean
 Second Stage: (Rotating Slots)
 Walls Of Jericho
 The Red Chord
 A Life Once Lost
 Strapping Young Lad
 All That Remains
 Full Blown Chaos
 Between The Buried And Me
Another main stage artist for the tour will be revealed on May 23rd, with Avenged Sevenfold currently the rumored recipient of the slot. The trek will kick off in July and will see Osbourne headlining only 10 shows of the trek, with Osbourne stating the following on the matter:
"...After 10 years I feel it's time to let someone else share the headlining spotlight. We want to shake it up a bit this year. I've closed virtually every Ozzfest performance for a decade now and I feel I can finally let other artists headline our festival and that's my intention for the future."
Dates and venues have yet to be announced, but a few more details, including quotes from participating artists, can be found over at www.ozzfest.com. Meanwhile, MTV's, along with some behind the scenes info, can be found here.
 |

Honestly, There are some very good bands on this tour (nothing really appealing on the main stage but second stage is pretty stellar) and I'm quite jealous of my friend Mike who plays for Full Blown Chaos because he gets to play with all these amazing bands. This actually might be the first year a buy an Ozzfest ticket.

In other news the Sounds of the Underground tour is cooking something up for Europe.

  	  | Quote: | | CHIMAIRA MADBALL
 UNEARTH
 TERROR
 ALL THAT REMAINS
 MANNTIS

 The dates are as follows:

 May 10 - Manchester, England @ Academy
 May 11 - Glasgow, Scotland @ QMU
 May 12 - London, England @ Form
 May 13 - Tilburg, Holland @ Q13
May 14 - Brussels, Belgium @ AB CLUB
 May 15 - Dusseldorf, Germany @ Stahlwerk
 May 16 - Hamburg, Germany @ Markethalle
 May 18 - Stuttgart, Germany @ Longhorn
 May 19 - Weisbald, Germany @ Schlachthof
May 20 - Munich, Germany @ New Backstage
 May 21 - Vienna, Austria @ Arena
May 22 - Milan, Italy @ Rolling Stone
 May 23 - Zurich, Switzerland @ Roshoflager
May 24 - Fri Borg, Switzerland @ Fri Son
 |

Madball, Unearth, and Terror would make for a pretty cool show.

					| I don't like any of those bands. Some at the ozzfest are alright but i'm not into the festival scene really. There's a few half decent ones in the UK now such as give it a name, reading / leeds and download but they're just too expensive. The tickets are like £150 for a weekend + camping or whatever.
Instead me and my m8s are planning a trip to Amsterdam. The flights are £14 THERE AND BACK! ffs it costs £2 to go from my house to the town centre on the bus!
The accomodation is like £30 a night which isn't great but who cares?

for around about £350 we can have a well good time, get shit faced and have an experience of a lifetime.

Much better than stinking, gettin cramp, and gettin a glimpse of a band without actually having a 'crowd' of fans like you would at a concert.

					| I may go to that show in Brussel but I'm still in doubt.
Because of those stupid trendy metalcore shit they will ask a lot of money for entrance and I'm never paying more than 15€ for bands like Madball and Terror.
