This just...
Two directors bode well.
Martin Lawrence after his fourth heart attack just said no to get unchonky for the movie while eating another KFC wing. Also everyone should be glad there were extensive reshoots because his weight varies in the trailer but maybe the action takes place in longer period of time.
I died twice from laughter while watching the trailer.
Everyone just wanted another bad boys movie. I hope it will be a beginning of new cinematic universe.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but it needs the Michael Bay touch, like the previous two movies.
Of course. Bay gets a lot of hate, but he's made some entertaining action movies. Bad Boys, The Rock, Bad Boys 2, and even the first Transformers, all had some well done action.
He created the tone and style of the Bad Boys franchise, and his absence is felt.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
Loaded up with action and a double helping of leading-man charisma, Bad Boys for Life reinvigorates this long-dormant franchise by playing squarely to its strengths.
Putting violence in this world is something the first two “Bad Boys” films, whatever you may think of them, did exceptionally well. And action junkies can rest assured that this stylish, derivative and fitfully fun third outing will at least give them their money’s worth in slashed throats, impaled torsos and bullet-riddled bodies.

But with Bad Boys for Life, the third title in the franchise in 17 years with two stars, who some may have believed to be on the wane (Will Smith and Martin Lawrence), Sony has resurrected a hit with the threequel set to open to a great $68.4M over 4-days.
That’s the second-best MLK weekend ever, after American Sniper ($107.2M) and ahead of Ride Along ($48.6M). The threequel also reps the best opening for the action cop franchise, besting the $46.5M of 2003’s Bad Boys II, and it’s an amount which is currently set to best the entire domestic gross of the first 1995 Bad Boys, which finaled at $65.8M. Things are going so well for Bad Boys for Life this weekend, Sony is already prepping a fourth film.

Smith admits he often bullshits a film he made is good, just because it's expensive so he has to get butts to the theater, but promises that this time it's good! for real!! honest!!! you can trust him!!!!
It’s fantastic. Y’all gonna love it. ‘Cause I say that a lot. I say that a lot. I’m gonna keep it real. Sometimes I say y’all gonna love it and y’all not gonna love it. Sometimes I’ve seen it and I know y’all not gonna love it, but it’s an expensive movie. But this time, this movie is out of here. It is so good, if you like the first two at all.

Gemini Man
Bright
Suicide Squad

After Earth
Men in Black 3
Hancock
I Am Legend
Fuck that. Bright was AWESOME, Smith was the only reason to watch Suicide Squad, Men in Black 3 was AWESOME, Hancock was AWESOME, and I Am Legend was entertaining
All but After Earth and Gemini Man made money, some of them were big commercial successes.

Good for you that you can enjoy movies even though they're so embarrassingly bad. My personal opinions: Bright was just so silly and pointless, Suicide Squad had nothing but Margot Robbie going for it, Men in Black 3 was actually kinda fun (MiB: International on the other hand.. a franchise killer if I've ever seen one), I Am Legend lacked any kind of creativity, losing miserably to the previous attempts I've watched ("The Omega Man" with Charlton Heston and "The Last Man on Earth" with Vincent Price). I did find Hancock entertaining but not much else. To me Will Smith is vastly overrated.

But that's just me.
No, not just you.
