No it wasn't.. Ugh SNL :/ The first sketch was barely ok, the second time they repeated the same shit but without anything funny in it and worse effects...
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Any reason why were not seeing a 4k version? It does seem to be missing from the usual sources but looks like vudu has it, are we not able to rip vudu streams?
There is a 4k version. I am watching it. let me rephrase, I am TRYING to watch it, but the story is so all over the place, it's hard to watch and follow without total facepalm/cringe.
It just reminds me of cheesy commercials, it has all of those ingredients and it seems to use the same strategies (a lot of focus on statistics)
"our data shows we should have at least one 'epic scene' with horses, this due to the popularity of the Lord of the Rings movies. Makes sense! Give me a scene with horses, but make them appear in a place that is epic yet familiar to the viewers to not alienate them. Oh, I know, put them on a Star Destroyer!"
+ same BS for tons of other scenes but replace with "horror", "Indiana Jones" etc.
Everything with it is just so artificial, like the bulk of the movie isn't made by a human.
its not quite as bad as the prequels, but its bad enough.
atleast the prequels are fun in a very dumb way, i would rather rewatch them and then rewatch the obligatory rlm reviews, than any of the last trilogy.
For me it's the other way around. The prequels are incredibly boring. With the new ones I can at least have a laugh and some pew pew. If you keep your brain activity at minimum, these new movies are marvellous. Try to watch the prequels with a phone in your hand
The prequels minus Anakin bitch sessions are so far ahead of this shit for me.
At least it had some resemblance of a structure and most things made sense in the great scheme, but here? Nothing makes sense and it's an absolute incoherent mess.
I enjoyed the prequels. The acting is terrible at times but they were miles ahead of this, especially part III.. They were still Star Wars, this is just crap.
This one was slightly better than the previous though, but that doesn't say much considering how terrible that was.
A couple of entertaining moments but overall very disappointing. Can't watch for 2.5 hours with a random pile of crap.
Rey is a poorly written character. Poe was okay. Finn??? I still don't get the point of his character along with others. Also, that black girl at the end...with Lando.
Kylo was the best part of the trilogy even though he barely did anything in this movie.
Chewie's death, Kylo serving Palpatine, C3PO having his memories wiped all got fixed within a few minutes and had no consequences at all. What did Finn want to say to Rey before sinking? How Palpatine returned? The movie does not answer anything nor works on the story. All just random cool shots at every location.
Meeeeh. What a waste.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Finn wanted to tell her he is force sensitive. This is how he knew what Rey was doing when he was in the ship. He could feel her.
No clue why they didn't show him telling her.
How the Emperor returned was pared down in the final edit because it was deemed not important, lol.
I'm sure there will be plenty of SW comics that go into detail.
Yeah, the movie sucks ass for these and many more reasons.

Fell asleep halfway through it.. didn't bring myself to fire it up again since then.
Okay, I was comfortably high, but the sheer fact that it happened to me in front of a Star Wars movie should be enough I should have been excited and engaged in the film, but it didn't happen. The pacing and whole construction of the movie is hard to follow (as in, enjoyable to follow, it's not complex by any means), nothing makes a lasting impression..
