I'm having lots of fun with this game
About 5 hours played and it awesome. Shooting, driving, exploring all great so far.
There a bug where you can't use Overdrive if you don't do the tutorial, sadly i only noticed after about 6 hours so i started a new game.
Also some weird bug is that 2 npc already are invisible Hope this doesn't ruin my enjoyment further.

Legit game?
On the legit game all of those issues are fixed.

Playing the TerrorMania codex rls, but it's weird since TerrorMania released not so long ago and i thought that the bugs will be fixed as i saw comments that have this kind of bugs long ago.. shame but i hope not to encounter anymore bugs
I played the 1.0 release on Steam, via AntiDenuvo, and had an absolute blast with it! I genuinely do not understand so much of the ire that it draws; it was a DEFINITE gameplay improvement over the first one --- which I loved immensely
the gameplay itself people didnt like, i'd say. The act of shooting the gun, the feel, is good regarding just a couple of guns. The AR and the shotgun maybe, i forgot. Thats just a very small part of what gameplay means. Its a singular aspect of many.
Its just a boring game, the missions are shallow, the powers are too op, too imbalanced. The game's to easy so the battles dont feel good cause you're just target practicing. Navigating the world is boring and badly done.
Its a pretty poor game all and all. Literally the single positive thing is that the AR feels good to shoot. I wouldnt even say it has good combat since the enemies dont pose any threat and the powers are very op. I played the entire game using pretty much no powers cause it'd break the game even more.
Even the BFG in this game was lame. The game itself was very mediocre. Maybe some fun mechanics, but like typical Avalanche game, everything gets boring real quick because the story is terrible and nothing is really inspired.
I struggled to finish this, the final mission has to be one of the most bland final missions I've seen in a video game.
So you played a bland game, managed to push through it, but then was surprised how bland the final mission is?
Well, there were some enjoyable bits. The combat has its moments and the visuals are easy on the eye. But the mission design and the overall content are hard to tolerate. Considering the main story is pretty short, I thought at least they put some effort into the ending. Boy I was wrong.
Yes, but the charm of the combat, if you find there is some charm in the first place, wears off very quickly because every enemy encounter basically plays exactly the same, and as you say, the mission design and story are so bad, there is very little to pull you enough to keep playing.
