In The Tall Grass - 8/10
I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was like a very good Twilight Zone episode expanded into a movie. Totally not what I expected.

Monos: 0/10 Deleted right after two guys began kissing..then stopped..then kissed again.
Doctor Sleep: 7/10 Was annoyed at first due to seeing kids being killed, but then for some reason it seemed OK..hahah.. got better towards middle/end. Should have just been called The Shining 2.. Doctor sleep seemed like a dumb title..

The Room: 6/10
It was okay, Olga Kyrulenko is always nice to look at. If you've got nothing else to watch, this one will definitely pass the time.

8 Bags in a Duffel Bag - 4/10
Analyze This - 4,5/10
Both were weak comedies, with some minor funny moments.

Lake Mungo 5/10. Nah. Didn't like.

I bet the book had more of that particular theme than the one(?) scene in the movie.. usually movies are not named like the book, but it's such a classic that nothing really deserves being called "The Shining II". I'd probably not watch something called that, i'd just roll my eyes, sigh and move on.
I think the movie portrayed the vampire-like cult in a really cool and explicitly gruesome way that goes beyond any vampire movie i've seen.. that's one of the reasons i really loved it.

Then you shouldn't watch it. NVA got their asses handed to them (according to the wiki too, if you believe it) however neither side really won. Both claimed victory though.
I recommend the Vietnam War documentary if you haven't seen it. It's excellent and pretty brutal at times with certain depictions.

There are a lot of interviews with the North Vietnamese and i remember one of them being really talkative about what they did to GI's. There were also many interviews with NVA women making it even more interesting.
It reminded me of interviews with the japanese (about the Rape of Nanking) on YT who sounded like raping and killing was cool, like they were proud of wat they done. Pretty horrific stuff.

If they focused more on the other classmates it would have been funnier
Stuber was kinda meh 5.5/10 but got few laughs of this too
The Irishman 7/10
Ready or Not 6/10

thanks will check it out, but just to clear the air, it was the americans and french doing the raping this time not on that crazy scale, but still heroin and opium junkies having a school trip with no teachers around and armed to the teeth

Electric Boogaloo 7/10: The history of the independent film company, The Cannon Film Group, Inc.
Quote: |
For those of us that grew up in the VHS age of the 1980's, Cannon Films was a studio that provided us with much of our movie watching excitement. New Year's Evil (1980), Enter the Ninja (1981), Invasion U.S.A. (1985) and Cobra (1986) are just a few of the titles that helped propel Cannon Films in its heyday and is the focus of the new documentary Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films.

6 Underground: 2/10 : Unwatchable for me. Car chase scenes so boring...who cares.. stunts ridiculous. Another typical Michael Bay POS.
Brexit The Uncivil War: 7/10: Good to see UK making changes!! Like USA.. Bad at end to notice it is left wing propaganda..but the reds win again...
