You need to be lucky with who answers the request. Whenever I need something I always mention my account handler and he's very helpful always (mostly he doesn't give a fuck about anything Smile).

They definitely will, because now masses will move to Raj as the last option worth exploring.

Just because they change the currency from pesos to dollars doesn't necessarily mean that the games have to be more expensive, or do i miss something?

Theyll add a new Region so the Pricing could stay the same relatively just in USD but i wouldnt be surprised if a bunch of Publishers used the opportunity to jack them.

Most like it will go like that but the sales in those countries will be extremely low, considering the level of income. Maybe they care, maybe don't.

This is supposedly the steam recommendation for pricing in these new usd regions:

74.99$ > 34.99$
59.99$ > 26.99$
49.99$ > 22.99$
24.99$ > 12.49$
14.99$ > 7.99$
9.99$ > 5.79$
4.99$ > 2.99$

Maybe I am missing something about the pro's of tricking into other countries for cheap prices.
Is key sites not just as good? I've gotten games for like a 10th of the price listed by just buying keys, and no risk of Steam finding out I lied where I live to get it.

Everytime I buy a gift game for someone else, I use key sites. And go "yea, its like $8. I'll get it for you since I'm not paying the 39.99 steam wants"

Damn we're now all fucking then roll the credits

ARS pricing was and in some rare cases still is ridiculously cheap. Key sites also often offer only "Accounts" at the same price and usually the game itself is very high £20.00 vs. £49.00 compared to that.

maybe like I mentioned in other threads, its the game genres me and friends play so I dont notice it.
I have no issue finding just keys for sale for usually dirt cheap. As we dont do AAA or recent released major titles.
As those are all same to me: Do you want to shoot things? Or hit things with magic/sword? maybe you want to have to climb around parkouring a 3d world, BEFORE you shoot things or hit it with a sword. The options are limitless! As long as it's only a combo of those things.

Sometimes less. I think I picked quite a few up for like around $6 when it's 39-49 on steam. Rarely do I have to pay more than 1/3 retail price.

Indeed. Afaik you play mostly indie games and they're likely featured in those dirt cheap packages etc. You'll find the most value in AAA games.

Indie I guess. But my perception of indie is small, near mobile style games.
By definition indie is any smaller studio really. But in my head indie is any small studio that makes games like 'the last tree' and Super Meat Boy, and metroidvania style stuff.

my subset of indie and/or genre is: Sim, builder, automation type 'endless' games.
My top 15 games on steam for hours in order are (Taking out Ark and GTA5 as they are purely for the friends MP "Lets go do dumb shit"):
City Skylines, Planet Coaster, Factorio, Space Engineers, Kerbal, Screeps, Prison Architect, RimWorld, Automobilista 2, Project Cars 2, ARMA 3, Stellaris, Project Zomboid.

We'll just have to wait and see. AAA's will probably have their own pricing, but the rest should stick to the 50% reduction, which is still better than pure USD/EUR prices.

I understand why people would like to screw with big publishers and their buggy, early access, "AAA" titles. I don't get it why would you do it to an indie dev (especially on day 1 purchase).

It is a shame for people who actually live in Turkey and Argentina and many of them will probably have to switch to either less games played or less official sources of games (not sure how game scene looks now with Denuvo all around).
