Juanito Rambo
Sly's face was tired from dealing with malparidos. Even more banal than I expected, with the directing job that hops from Mexican telenovela-like vibes to B-grade splatter wrapped in a recycled revenge theme, and yet, the child inside me couldn't help but grin at the vintage tone of the whole thing. It felt ridiculous, but also pleasantly liberating in the way it ignores time and space. 6/10

Rambo (2019)
7.5/10
Well, it was nothing new or anything, but overall it was a nice movie.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - 7/10
These were not exactly the Tarantino stories I was looking for, with less spaghetti than I anticipated and only a measly 1/2 cup of sauce. I enjoyed the old-school atmosphere and specific mood that the 60s Hollyboos are able to convey, good ol' Di Caprio and Pitt with their peculiar bromance were rock-solid (as always) and nothing went wrong from a technical standpoint, but..the overall structure of the movie really did feel too loose and vain to fully sustain itself without facing a bit of sad trombone.
Ultimately, there's not much in its scenes and dialogues that can genuinely qualify as memorable, even though the potential behind the setting was a huge one on paper. Sitting among my least favourite Quentino flicks definitely isn't a shameful place to be, it's just that when Mr. Brown pops out of his cave my expectations are always high.

Rambo 5 is it?..
Dumb bitch does dumb shit and gets fucked to death, then rambo kills everybody. 4/10
Saved you 2 hours, you're welcome.
Once upon a..
Where the fuck was the plot here? I mean, i could've just watched the end scene and been done with it. Cool ending tho. 5/10 just for the ending.
The Irishman
This was actually good, a bit long but i actually wanted to see more. Geriatric Deniro isn't the best look he's ever had, i could feel his bones snapping as he was kicking the grocery store dude down, and i'm gonna be so sad when all these guys invariably die. Mafia movies need to make a comeback, 8/10

The Irishman - 8/10
Thanks for everything De Niro Pesci Pacino & above all, Scorsese. Felt like a swan song, the best swan song possible. Dragged a bit here & there, but overall a really solid 8.

Ford v Ferrari 8/10
Some clichés and american style focus on gear shifting. Bale delivers though and it has some good racing scenes. Nice romantic throwback to when car racing was for heroes. Turn off the brain and watch it.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

ad astra 5/10
4 really but +1 for despereratly needed more sci fi , silly plots, wants to be heavy but its light and full of nonsense , had potential, some real moon warfare, but they missed the mark , scene looked total ridicoulous and silly and wasted incredible potential
brad pit was a complete waste , as he is in a space suit 75% of the time, could have saved millions putting a normal younger more sci fi experienced fella in there and spend more on cool sci fi stuff ...

Freaks: 0/10
Just complete shit. Gave it a good 30 min until I had to stop my eyes from bleeding. After the ice cream truck scene, it was deleted. Made no sense, boring, stupid, horrible in everyway.

You weren't high enough to understand the nuances of Kevin Smith artistry.

Ad Astra - Dis Aster/10
So much potential... completely wasted. No sense of wonder even if James Gray tried to mimick Malick's style, over the top narration, embarrassing moments of Pitt's soliloquy, pointless ending (more in spoilers)
Spoiler: | What's the point of traveling to neptune (!!) just to accept the fact that people have each other? Pitt's character has even a constant psychologic exam and nobody detected his loneliness and substraction from society? No, he should go to the other end of the solar system and find his rogue father to lose him because stupid selfish reasons and notice we're social beings. Fuck me.

Durr. I really really wanted to like it.

Ladies do call me a freak in bed..
I gave it more than enough time to pick things up. Normally I end it within 10 min.

Ad Astra
6/10 (more like 4, but it's well shot and pretty so meh...?)
Expected Sci-Fi, got... uh, something else. Didn't enjoy it really.
