First episode was already better than the entire Netflix series for me. Some similar scenes but with much more details about it.

PC: Yes. Console: No.

The Asia ep was the best so far. It had the walrus falling down cliffs again like the Netflix show but so many other great scenes as well.

Just started watching this in glorious 4K and HDR. Damn, BBC is the king of gorgeous footage. And Sir Attenborough still has it although he's 93

Too bad there was no Chernobyl scene in the Europe episode.
This was the best section of the Netflix show and since they re-used the stupid walrus I hoped they'd reuse the exclusion zone as well.
btw. Bluray of remaining eps should be out soon

Before final episode has aired? That's odd.

Seems it's only 24 frames. Originally the broadcast was 50. Is that normal?

50 fields interlaced. It's 25p. That's PAL. On US broadcasts/online, it's converted to 24p. It's the age old BBC problem. They master for 25p, but their own Blurays and digital broadcasts are 24p, causing audio to be at different pitch.
