Yeah, he looks like a fucking wreck. Checked out some of the "90s throwback" people there. Jesus christ, they all did a bit too much of fucking everything. And people throw $200 at them so that their "celebs" can record a shitty ass 15 second video with a potatophone while taking a dump on a plane. And you can always see multiple videos shot at the same location as if they are just going through a huge list. Heck, in one of those Michael Biehn videos, the dude looks as if he is 80+ years old and he is even talking about being 2 weeks late for a birthday wish (for $85!!).
He was great in this. Looks like he spent all the money he earned (not saying he earned millions).
Quote:
"People always talk about me being an '80s star. I was not an '80s star," says Biehn. "Bruce Willis was an '80s star. Tom Cruise was an '80s star. Schwarzenegger and Stallone. Mel Gibson. Those guys were making $20 million [a picture]. I never even got $1 million. I kind of liked it that way."

And he's just 63. Pretty young if you ask me.
But it's really shocking how so many of these celebrities are not putting any effort into appearing presentable, or even on time in his case.

My god that cameo.com site is depressing. it's like from a dark comedy, it's even hard to imagine the videos are real.
Everyone there is getting a 5/5 too, i guess people must really like when coked up former celebs says hi to them, in a video someone paid 35 bucks for. I'm not sure which is more depressing.
Well, if you friend paid for this, you probably feel obliged to say it's the perfect gift. edit: Wait, it's not the receiver that leaves the comment, but the person that ordered it? Then I have no idea what's going on
But it does feel like something out of a Black Mirror episode

Its so embarrassing that the videos are left on the site instead of sent privately to the person its for, i dont get it... maybe its part of what people are paying for, to be on the site..
This is like something from an alternative and really fucked up universe

- you spent $500 on this shit??!
- Yes dear, i'm a firm believer of supporting strong, individualistic artists. Buying jewelry is very stereotypical and even sexist.

'Stars Getting Rich Off Fan Conventions: How to Take Home "Garbage Bags Full of $20s"'
Quote:
One effect of superhero culture: a proliferation of fan events where Marvel movie heroes and 'Walking Dead' stars walk away with six figures (more than most get paid for their real jobs) for a weekend's work.
Quote:
"The fact is, a guest star on a TV show can [get] around $10,000, whereas you can work two days at a convention and pull in the same amount — and sometimes double and triple that," says Firefly actress Jewel Staite, who did 12 conventions last year while pregnant with her son and, as she says, "pretty much not hireable." She'll do the same when she has a second child. "Have I turned down smaller jobs that won't pay as much? Absolutely. It would be silly of me to say yes to the job that pays $10,000 for a week of work and bow out of a big convention where I could potentially walk away with $40,000 in two days."
