who cares about the propaganda?
If the game is good lets play it!! Its an american company, they will obviously make americans out to be the heroes. I don't really care whether i'm playing as a yank, or a Brit, so long as i'm capping our common enemies.

Regarding propaganda, it´s pretty weird that you can´t play as a Nazi in any FPS like Call of Duty 2. It seems that playing as a Soldier of Stalin is allright, but not one of Hitlers, that´s kind of wrong in my opinion since Stalin was far worse than Hitler was.

That is so true but you'll never see that happening...Jewish associations will be all over the game companie and sueing their asses...like they tried to do to the team of Day of Defeat few years ago

Well, completed BLACK on Normal difficulty now and i must say this is the best Xbox game i´ve ever played! I can´t find one single negative thing to say about this game, best FPS ever made...Period! The only "negative" is that the game is really short, took me 6 hours to beat it but i rarely get stuck in these kinds of games. I will surely replay this on Hard when the NTSC version with 480p is released ^_^ Now, over to Grandia III !

looks like you need different media try any ritek dvd-r
grabbed mine from newsgroup so pretty much sure you grabbed same one as me & one i got works fine,im using different newsserver but i guess this shouldnt matter if you got all files down complete
also try using either recordnow or dvddecrypter to burn it to dvdr I only use these 2 for burning xbox,dont know what software your using but a lot of people use nero i found this gave me problems with booting up xbox games
i got my pal xbox set to ntsc mode using hi def pack with no problems m8 so ntsc or pal mode should be fine

So, does this game have a good story..? Conspiracy, interesting characters, cutscenes and stuff..? Or is it only shooting, shooting and more shooting.
*note: good and nicely done story for me means MGS series, bad and poorly done story means HL2, Splinter Cell series.

So this release it doesn´t support 480 Progressive? only 576i ?

I'm still downloading but i will let you know if it works on my PAL box which has a beta modchip and an evo-x dash that ain't been upgraded for over 2 1/2 years!!

Thats the dash I was using and I have tried everything. Xbox just cant recognize the dvd.

Yes, finally a nice new xbox game.
Graphics great, gameplay great but what I really hate is that shitty EA Style.
It's all so polished, there is no blood it smells so much like a typical Teenie PG-13 mainstream shooter. Yea mainstream, thats what Ea is, uber emancipated models with big tits, "cool" younger heroes and fast cars. What I want is the dirty Die Hard guy, wrong time wrong place, smelling like shit, smoking and with a hangover. A bit more 80's Style and more blood, less fixation on 15 year old brainless players and this game could be the best shooter for the xbox.

Oh and to the guy whining about EA polish wha wha. This game wasnt made by EA dude and if you watch listen to the ign podcast he tells you exactly why there's no blood. EA own critereon, they publish criteron and critereon say they gave them no resitance and let them make the M rated game the way they wanted to make it so pls STFU. All this EA bashing its like the internet gamer fad at the moment.
