Very very bad way to end the season. The entire vex offensive was trash and the final assault is even more trash. Exact same stuff but the boss changed to an easier one.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Join us on Wednesday, December 4, at 10:00 a.m. PT for the reveal of a new season.

Season pass finished just in time i think it was worth it for the cosmetics alone, the sets look pretty cool on my chars (and they don't look like clowns with mismatched armor parts anymore because i'm min maxing main stats ). I only did the Vex stuff a few times but yeah it was pretty dull. Luckily there is so much else to do in the game for a new player like me but i still hope they come up with something better for next season.
Mercury. Nice. Can finally use sparrow there. IO should be next week with the launch.

I guess i should play some of the other campaigns now cause know none of the characters in the trailer and i didn't play destiny 1 either which probably doesn't help.

So how should they monetize it then in your opinion? There are no loot boxes,no p2w shit and you can just buy most of the cosmetics from bright dust or get them in engrams. I'm fine with paying for actual content (if it's good) and they give out a lot of shit for free, it's miles away from the shit actiblizz, ea or ubi do in their games. Again their seasons are definitely not great so far but it's ok for 10 bucks every few months.

The stream was very bad. They showed nothing really. Sundial activity looked generic and already felt boring. VO 2.0 coming instead of a menagerie.
New artifact replacing current weapons with scout/pulse/bow...imagine those in 980 NFs.
They didn't talk about power level or ritual weapons. Literally 15 minutes spent on showing cosmetic finishers.
Adding dawning and IB to season pass calendar is a joke as well. IB rotates like every 3 weeks.

For starters, paying for time limited content it's a terrible way to do it. I'm waiting for the developer that will allow players to continue their progression the battle pass they paid for after the respective season ended. I have a feeling this will be a long wait.
The brightdust list of cosmetics hasn't kept up with the paid ones. An argument can be made about pay to win as well, but it's such a grey area and I'm too tired for polemics right now.
Increased the drop rate of the “Scourge of the Past” raid Exotic weapon Anarchy from 5% to 10%
The Exotic Engram and the Fated Engram have been collapsed into a single new Exotic Engram item
When opened, it awards a new Exotic if any remain to be collected; otherwise, it contains a random piece of Exotic armor
Powerful Cap: 960, up from 950
Pinnacle Cap: 970, up from 960
Escalation Protocol wave 7 chest no longer requires a key to open Chest can be opened upon every successful completion of wave 7
The cost of slotting a weapon mod has been reduced from 5,000 Glimmer to 500 Glimmer
Repeatable bounties have been added to the Gunsmith
Merged strike/Crucible/Gambit objectives on the Gunsmith weekly bounty "Field Calibration" into a single objective that shares progress from all sources
Removed Valor/Infamy and Vanguard tokens from "Field Calibration" as there is no longer a requirement for any of these linked activities
Added Rusted Lands to appropriate playlists
Added The Dead Cliffs, Legion’s Gulch, Retribution, and Solitude to appropriate playlists
Removed Emperor’s Respite, Equinox, Firebase Echo, and Vostok from all Crucible playlists. These maps are still available for play in private matches
In Season of Dawn, all Dawning Weekly and Repeatable bounties will award Bright Dust in quantities equal to the amount awarded from strike, Crucible, and Gambit bounties (200 per weekly and 10 per repeatable). Crimson Days will do the same for Weekly bounties only, as this event does not include Repeatable bounties.

Season rewards are quite underwhelming this time around, what is the fucking point of rewarding the seasonal armor pieces but with crappy stats? Or does RNG applies when you claim it once you reach the appropriate rank?
The artifact is very poor this season. None of the mods stands out or changes the meta much. Even with the removal of anti-barrier from SMG, the Scout/Pulse simply can't force into meta. 2xIB + Divinity is just too good not to use.
Nothing like Oppressive darkness level and that sucks. Nothing like Thunder Coil either.
Second, the armour change isn't big either to make players masterwork it. The Charged with light is cool on paper but meh in-game. There are some decent mods but very niche. So pretty safe not to MW any armour gear and just save it for other stuff / next season.
On top of that, none of the new armour actually supports Hunt or Raid mods and that sucks. They should really try to implement universal slot for all content (including exotic gear) instead of making seasonal slots.
Seasonal slots would work if mods were good or game-changing but at the moment they are not.
On the bright side, the weapons are good this season. Sidearm/auto/GL and even LFR. All are powerful and roll with good perks. The Sundial rewarding system is lot better than Menagerie as you can get 3+ weapons from each run once you rank up enough.
Let's see what tomorrow brings. So far it is in a mixed bag. Better than VO but nothing amazing.

Gear reward after rank 35 has a high stat roll. Highest actually with 64-66 base. You can upgrade it to 86-88 with +10 mod and MW bonus. Anything below rank 35 is pretty much discarded. I don't claim the rewards right away but instead, use them to level up when needed to fill the pinnacle vs. powerful gap.
so it’s totally conceivable that some day we’d be on the Epic Games Store
Which is completely 100% fine, I don't think anyone truly has anything against a game being ON Epic Game Store.. but rather ONLY on Epic Game Store. There's literally no reason to not be on every single platform out there, give the choice to consumers and they'll love you all the more.
Yeah he's probably right but that sub is always extremely negative about the game. I'm taking a break as well though playing POE atm which i have not touched for years.
