Murica, its a slow start but once modernized it ramps up like no other.
There's China and I thought Brazil was rather interesting when I played them. A lot of potential there but quite some effort needs to be put in for it to shine.

China is slow, but has Manpower like nobody else, so all you need are 40 width pure infantry divisions, half equipped and trained x 1000000 Smile

They make any AI improvements in the last 8 months?

Also does creamapi still work with this new launcher of theirs?

Creamapi still works fine. Imho, the game is harder. Unless you cheese the hell out of it like some of those youtubers, lol.

Good to hear, thanks.

Is the AI able to properly invade with naval/para's now? Do they not randomly pull out divisions from the front anymore etc?

So we continued our game last night prior to German attacking Russia. I held my own for about two months and then German started pushing my line back. There's something wrong with front lines. They seem to remove themselves too easy. I guess it's due to the AI trying to encircle you but that occurred quite a bit. My friend ended up taking all of China and pushing Japan off the continent but he never got to me in time and I was steamrolled by Germany/Romania. After reading some guides I realized my mistakes:

1. I didn't have enough infantry on the line. I think I had about 90 to Germany's 175+.

2. In my Designer I also didn't include any anti-tank/anti air support.

3. I didn't produce enough fighters/CAS. Germany had about 5000 and I had over 1000.

4. Per a guide I read, they suggested putting lvl 4 forts on the Poland line after Germany honors the M-R pact. Then out lvl 5 forts on the Romania line. I should have moved them back to rivers for fallback lines.

5. I see a lot of people using different tactics when it comes to what to build first. Some people say Civ factories, others say Mil factories. I leaned towards Civ because the more you have the more you can produce military ones later.

6. Upgrades. I need to figure out how to speed up upgrades of tanks/airplanes and guns if that's possible. Guns didn't fully upgrade until after Germany declared war and by then I was running low.

7. Speaking of tanks, some guides say to ditch them altogether or just relay on light tanks and concentrate more on AT/AA infantry and air superiority. I may try that for my SP game.

If you're struggling in SP with any major nation... just use space marines division (go look them up) Basicly INF division combined with arty and 1 heavy tank. Due to hardness you're divisions hardly die. Then you have 2 options, wait it out and make them waste manpower/equipment or just push anyway Smile

wow, that seems like a serious exploit. Nothing to counter that except maybe low # of divisions and if you don't have air superiority?
