Limitations in This Release
Image Sharpening FeatureNVIDI A Control Panel Image sharpening controls, including GPU upscaling, are introduced in the R440 driver. Currently, the following limitations apply.
Scaling is not supported on MSHybrid systems.
Vulkan / OpenGL applications are currently not supported for sharpening
HDR displays driven by pre-Turing GPUs will not support scaling
Scaling will not work with VR
Scaling will not work with displays using YUV420 format.
Scaling uses aspect ration scaling and will not use integer scaling
Sharpening will not work with HDR displays
GPU scaling engages when games are played only in full-screen mode, and not in windowed or borderless windowed mode.
Some monitors, such as R2 and R3 monitors, have a 6-tap/64-phase scaler which scales better than that offered by Turing's 5-tap/32-phase scaler.
To avoid accidentally triggering scaling by applications or DWM, first change to the desired (< native) resolution from the NVIDIA Control Panel and then launch the application.
Turing's 5-tap upscaler may not engage on certain monitors, based on the monitor's vblank timing.
Turing's 5-tap upscaler may not engage if the input resolution is greater than 2560px in either the x or y dimension.
Scaling is turned off automatically when switching display devices.
"Restore Defaults" option in the control panel currently does not revert the upscaling resolution.

The only thing i don't like as for late with GFE is that the moment you press the MANUAL recording key (custom key) it takes like 1-2 secs to record (bottom right logo). Shouldn't it kinda be of instant?

Image sharpening from nvcp is a good thing. I do not want to install the geforce experience... but I also don't want any sharpening playing at native 4k.
The integer scaling is a good thing to have for some use cases.

Is there any settings in GFE that i should touch to get a much cleaner quality while keeping the +60FPS ?

Yeah those are always good though this time NVIDIA is waiting a bit with publishing the bulletin and info on what they are which I guess is either a change in how the policy used to work or it's something more severe and they're giving it another two days letting users upgrade to the newest drivers.

-No Low Latency Mode setting on MSHybrid notebooks/PCs with SLI configuration: In the R440 branch, we fixed a bug that was incorrectly allowing NVIDIA Ultra Low Latency mode to be enabled for MSHybrid and SLI configurations. Even though the mode appeared to be enabled on these configurations, Ultra Low Latency mode was not actually engaged. R435 was considered a Beta and we apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
-Task Manager may display 0% GPU usage in some games -> Not a bug. You may use a 3rd party GPU monitoring utility such as EVGA Precision/MSI Afterburner with games reporting incorrect GPU usage in the Task Manager to get correct reading
And compared to the PDF that makes the MSHybrid and the GPU usage from task manager reporting 0% listings additions to current known issues.
I've had some issues maybe with the latest drivers
1. When you press the record key it should've been recording INSTANTLY... Nope, takes 1-2 secs to begin
2.With my Logitech G633 headset, everything's configured just right with the mic etc. "Always on" for talking (never hold a key) and disabled any key that could interfere with the mic etc
I do a 1h15min recording and the initial 7-15min of my talking while recording ...Aren't heard at all.. Yet the video works. I did a shorter vid and still it didn't do much (a 35min vid)
Funnily if i choose "Make a separate file for the audio" or something... Well, such separate file ISN'T IN THE RECORDING FOLDER but instead it's in the video itself in a 2nd track... Wich , however, grabbed everything i've said for 21min....Sad fact?. 2nd track.. If ya up the vid on YT it'll just probably pic the 1st muted track (I think?) and i have to re-encode it on Premiere (wich luckily grabs both tracks)
WTH is wrong?!

Maybe they should feed that one intern working on this, this issue is now half a year or so in the list
I'm hoping it gets fixed by R* soon considering that there is a new heist being released tomorrow. Hopefully they slip in the fix with that and it will be a thing of the past.
It's been 84 years and nVidia still haven't improved their control panel to stop it being such a lagfest pile of shite Meanwhile AMD's new CP is glorious, it's fast, smooth, easy on the eyes, and has a ton of configuration options that don't require an external download like Inspector.
You know, I don't think there has. They changed the layout of the CP, going from tabs to columns instead, but other than that? This has been the same "ForceWare" CP for years upon years :\ I wouldn't mind if it was the same if only they'd actually improve the performance in it >_>
