Everyone bitching when theres more of the same. Everyone bitching when someone tries something different and manages to make something at the very least descent.
Give the man a break that he went through with his vision.

Let's differentiate between bitching about the same old, and people not liking a particular attempt. Two different types of "bitching".

There is no difference in the eyes of most. At least when it's something they're passionate about.

It may have some form of protection?, aka, the RGL required, but I think this will be an easy one to crack
I'm just going for the easy route regarding updates , as it's a BIG download this, and XDelts will be few and far between, and I expect no problems other than that
Imagine all those MEGA links (all 10 of them @ 15Gb each!), and just one going down? , nah, no thanks , couple in the fact, that XDelts are also going to be very large, if anyone can be bothered making them?
RGL it is, for now, and updates will be smooth, as the pre-load only took 3 hours, which is not bad for 110Gb, on my connection

Will also prolly contain Arxan like GTA V has, or they could also go for the D but the chances are slim when you know how greedy 2K is.
Also am I the only one who waits for the Steam release ? Back in the Days since GTA V came out ojn PC all i heard is how bad the R* Servers are when it comes to getting Updates from there, thats a turn off for me.
Besides that the other Pro argument for getting it now is that i have like 8 days off from work, so could actually spend the time in RDR2.

Most likely RGL + RockstarStub + SocialClub + Arxan. GTA V latest updates brought some online crap checks so it might be harder than expeced. But for sure they will try their best to crack it since RDR2 is a huge title everyone talking about.

I expect a quick scene release for this one. If it's in an optimized state right off the bat, I'll yarr it, play it once, and discard it without bothering with subsequent patches. If it's shit and needs extensive patching applied, I won't bother for now, and I'll buy it some time later on steam.

Preload is 'only' 109GB (yeah, I caved as well, considering the size and knowing I will play this for many hours). So on the 5th there will still be a 40GB download? It's preloading pretty slow at 1.52MBps...
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Considering the data is already in readable rpf format, they most likely will only release the binaries.

People claim they're encrypted. It really doesn't make sense to me, but will see on release date.
