People report .rpf files encrypted. Really doesn't make sense to me. Game binaries are missing you can't start the game, why would they encrypt main files? Its not like they're afraid of data mining or something the game is not new. Really weird, maybe "decryption" will be fast (hopefully).

I wonder if you can copy the files from the Rockstar folder to a different PC and have it work on that launcher? Really don't want to download 109 GBs again.
That's a weird ass trailer. Like why the hell are they focusing on that Caribbean section?
Looks like this is near the end of the game ? I didn't even know there was a Caribbean section, I would honestly have preferred to learn so by myself.
Weird indeed
Exploring in first-person is much better on PC thanks simply to well implemented mouselook. Pad controls are borderline sluggish, seemingly to give your actions a sense of heft that fits Red Dead Redemption 2's methodical pacing. It's great to be able to quickly look where I want to without dragging my view around with a stick. It also means you can play the game as a legitimate FPS.
Never thought I'd be saying this but I'm considering playing this with a game pad just because of how good the locomotion animation system is and how good it looks, and sadly keyboard controls rarely allow you to move at anything other than "unnatural snails pace" to "Usain bolt sprinting", with both options being very unimmersive

yeah, third person games are to 95% better with a gamepad.. i'm gonna try this with mouse/keyb though due to aiming, also gonna try first person, not sure what i will end up with...
Why is it worthless? That's how I played GTA5. derpTroller for world navigation and grab the mouse to aim. I think it was even possible to keep using the left stick while aiming with the mouse.
