It's just bots who try bruteforcing emails. I doubt they have the pw. But even with it, as long as you have 2wa, as you should with anything, it shouldn't matter anyway.

as well as shown on their Uplay+ launch page in the background.

Did Ubisoft change their mind or just mess up?

Guys quick question on this service; once I started the trial by entering the debit card details and it's successfully, can I just delete that card immediately from the records to avoid any future debit?

Do they automatically save your card details when you use it? I thought every digital store stores them only if you want to. I never save card details anywhere both because it's possible for some third party to breach the securities and steal it and also because sometimes I decide not to buy something useless during the filling of the card info. Razz

It shouldn't affect your subscription if you delete the card details , but with ubi you never know Laughing

I'll just wait until the last days of the month to cancel the sub, it isn't any haste.

Honestly, I don't know. I haven't even added it yet. I'm pretty much as paranoid as you are in terms of security. I avoid keeping my card details on any website which doesn't allow a code generation to authenticate a transaction. For me, most of these gaming websites directly take the funds out upon checkout, so just want to know that if I take the card off altogether.

I just checked their website and in their FAQs, there is an option to delete the card information. Let's see how it goes.

But somehow when I visit the link, it still has my card details on it.

Can also go to the Uplay+ page in the client itself scroll way down and cancel it there though it never popped that confirm message for me so having used Paypal I also cancelled the setup recurring payments from there, one of the two should do it though near the end of the month (Since it keeps the subscription until then.) I'll see about cancelling it again and if it works better this time and confirms it. Razz
(As long as you don't do a chargeback for those two Eurocoins and whatever that Spanish message in the client was - WTH Ubi? - it shouldn't be a problem ha ha.)

That's why i have a card for online stuff only and i transfer cash to it moments before i purchase something. So its safe even if they steal acc or from some subscriptions that auto charge.

had ugay some security breach? just got an mail my account got deactivated and i need to set a new pw. used a pw there which i never used anywhere else. didnt even logged in into uplay since months
