The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Having played the closed beta the guided or unguided didn't feel very much different from how you can toggle off UI icons, map pins or other helpers and which mode is the intended default that everything is geared and balanced for though we'll see how it goes but it felt more like a fancier name for adjusting a group of settings to off instead of keeping them enabled.
Beta region and it's invisible drone walls aside it's not that hard to navigate though and there's still plenty of helpers like the oddly visible somehow burning pyres with multi meter high thick smoke seen from way off the other side of the map indicating another fast travel camp and just about anything not tree, rock, grass is another "?" to be explored for one of several resources (RNG!) or collectibles or some side mission plus the game kinda tended to "Side mission nearby!" whenever you were in the general vicinity also kinda dulling the whole exploration/immersion mode but I think part of it could be toggled in the UI options as well.
It's nice for marketing hype same as the early video promo material but it doesn't really seem to represent the game overall and how it really plays and expects from the players (Broadest reach ever! - As usual.) so I wouldn't expect too much from it though anyone expecting a actual Tom Clancy's or Ghost Recon title compared to the older ones is probably going to be quite disappointed though after Wildlands I guess expectations weren't quite up there already. (Or Future Soldier before that I suppose.)
Has it's moments but we'll see when it's out and what the other difficulty modes and extras do and how this works in the full game after a few patches or months of continued development, as a shooter and probably once again with a team of close friends it might have it's moments but I found Wildlands a bit like a B action movie with some over the top acting and macho attitude and this is more like WTF.
(Then again Sueno and his Narco cohones-cabaleros plus Bowman kinda made much of that for Wildlands and this has...some kid and a community of cave dwelling hippies that fuck a lot and are patriotic or something heh.)
EDIT: That and while the cartel narcos were a bunch of testicle obsessed drugged out fucks they were stupid but entirely retarded and they dressed kinda loosely without being a bunch of leather loving gimps.
Meanwhile the Wolfs seems to be some furry worshipping tech loving perverts and the tarded fucks can't even do their guns right so the dip-shit-dumbass wolf shagging drone fucking leather glad gimp tards shoot themselves in the face with their own ejected shell casings!
EDIT: Though I suppose unlike the gimps of Phantom Pain their arses aren't hanging out on full display and they aren't undead! (-ish?)
EDIT: They're also level 150 something but that only really counts for the drones and heavies so a few headshots drop these dudes just fine regardless.
(Less humorous kinda but the RPG lite mechanics are such as weird addition to the game and the way it's implemented is all kinds of odd too where it means something and where it's just a number and constant replacing of gear for higher of said number.)
As the launch of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint approaches, we take an in-depth look at the content coming in Year 1, as well as the purchasable in-game content that will be offered.
YEAR 1
In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint, our aim is to keep expanding the experience with exciting new challenges and content after launch.
With the addition of adventures, raids, new classes, special events, and more, there will be plenty of new opportunities to enjoy Auroa throughout our first year of support and beyond.
Year 1 will contain three episodes – Episode 1, Operation Greenstone, will begin right at launch.
AI TEAMMATES
We’re still working on the AI Teammate implementation, and we’ll have more to share with you later in Year 1. Keep an eye out for updates along the way!
EPISODE 1

New rules will heat things up each week as these fresh elements keep things interesting between bosses.
Live Event
Live Events will feature special guests who will help Nomad tackle new terrible threats. A new Live Event will be available with each Year 1 Episode, and each will last one month.
Our first event features none other than the Terminator. A new narrative arc focuses on the T-800, who comes from the future to threaten Auroa and its inhabitants.
Completing these Live Event missions will provide you with new weapons, attachments, vehicles, and customization items.
If you miss a Live Event, you will still be able to play the main event story missions after it has passed; however, you will not be able to get the event-specific rewards – so make sure you check it out while it’s live!

The currency system will be different from Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands. Our primary goal is to reward player engagement in the long term, right from launch.
All standard weapons and attachments can be obtained by playing the game! You also have the ability to gain instant access through the store. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will have two forms of currency:
Skell Credits – Earned by playing the game or purchased with Ghost Coins. You will earn plenty of Skell Credits through in-game activities like looting, completing missions, playing Ghost War matches, etc.
Ghost Coins – Purchasable with real money only. Used only to unlock a few exclusive cosmetic items and time savers, such as crafting materials, from the store.
Crafting specific weapons
Unlocking specific attachments
Purchasing specific weapons and gear
Unlocking specific customization items
Unlocking specific vehicles
You can use Ghost Coins for:
Exchanging for more Skell Credits
Unlocking weapon blueprints automatically (you can find them in-game for free)
Unlocking weapon attachments automatically (you can find them in-game for free)
Exclusive customization options
Exclusive vehicles
Various time savers
Rewards Booster
ITEM PACKS
The majority of items in packs can be purchased individually if desired.
TIME SAVERS
Crafting materials, to craft medicinal items or explosives, will also be available for purchase.
Skell Credit packs can be bought for purchasing items in the shop.
Battle Rewards Boosters will double your past and future Battle Points in Battle Rewards. This means you will be able to unlock rewards faster. The Battle Rewards Booster will start being available two weeks after launch and is purchasable with Ghost Coins.
BATTLE REWARDS
New to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the introduction of the Battle Rewards system.
Players progress in Battle Rewards by earning Battle Points, which are obtained by completing faction missions or Ghost War matches.
The number of Battle Points a player can earn in a day is capped.
Each tier of Battle Rewards will provide access to exclusive rewards.
Each Episode will have two separate phases (called Acts) of Battle Rewards. Each Act will offer a fresh set of 50 items to unlock.
Each Act will have milestone items that all players will get on that tier. The items granted in-between will be randomly selected from the pool of 50, minus the ones you have already received and the milestone items. You will not get duplicates and are guaranteed to get all 50 items if you reach each tier before the Act is completed.
Two weeks after launch you will be able to purchase a Rewards Booster using Ghost Coins for that Act if you want to gain the rewards more quickly. However, engaged players will always be able to unlock all of the tiers for free by earning enough Battle Points.
Also add the numerous special editions of the game that require making a detailed description what is and what could never be (I love Led Zeppelin ) in every edition.
I started a game in highest difficulty and ..this is a joke, right?
You can mark enemies (arrow over the head), your health regenerates... completely.. you survive a TON of hits...
what the fuck is this?
Oh, and did they seriously remove the "opening sequence", where you have to like crawl around, evade an enemy patrol and find med packs and equipment?
I seriously expected to die a thousand times in my first 10 minutes... but I didn't and it was just pew, dead, pew, dead, hit 10 times, no worry, heal automatically in a couple of seconds...
Think it's meant to be played on the most higher difficulty setting and with guided mode off to experience that 'survival' feeling.
Yep. Started off at regular to get a feeling for the game. Breezed through until Berenthal's characted showed up and started over again cause it was too easy. Blind, deaf, braindead AI.
Then we tried playing in coop and it's even easier with loot being doubled. Yawn.

I mean what the serious fuck...
Oh, come on. It's 2019 and it's high time to get out of that cave
Maybe you bound the fire weapon button to the same key as the awesome button?
The AI team is being patched in somewhere after launch so for now it's solo or drone unless you have some others to play with or chance it with random matchmaking.

I expected nothing and was still let down, it literally condenses every single pesky console feature from 201X's tripeyA action world into one single giant, soulless and ultimately pointless couch-oriented caffeinated Calancian entity.
It's still Early Access so there's time to proper develop the game. I am sure there are plenty of testers willing to pay 60 Euro to help iron out the issues...
