Third episode of Psycho Pass going, I'm really liking this. Watching the extended edition as it is apparently more complete and better animation at points.

Sadly I didn't particularly like the Ghost in the Shell anime series (Stand Alone Complex). Certain episodes were better than others but ultimately it's basically a procedural cyber-cop drama without the depth and atmosphere of the movie. It did take the whole "is a cyborg with brain implants/interchangeable bodies really human?" and so on a step further but without depth. After finishing the original Stand Alone Complex series including Solid State Society made me lose interest in checking out the Arise OVA's.
We'll see how SAC_2045 ONA series (by Production I.G, coming on Netflix in 2020) turns out. 3DCG 12 episode series.
I'd LOVE something like Ergo Proxy. The style and the weird story that unfolded gave me Blade Runner vibes.

Wow, just on Horriblesubs there's a TON of new animes that showed up over the last ~2 weeks (20+ or so?). There are a couple of shows I'm going to check out like "Mugen no Juunin - Immortal" for instance but for some reason I feel like I've watched something pretty similar to it's premise before. I'll also check out "Assassins Pride". Any others I should check out?

Finished watching the first two Mugen no Juunin episodes. They were good, artsy, bloody and extremely far from shōnen. I also checked up on the name and found out there were a previous anime version back in 2008. I knew I recognized the premise. There's also a live action movie by Takashi Miike which I might've seen.

Blade of the Immortal Manga was gore and nudity-wise a Samurai version of Berserk, the anime will most likely be extremely cut.

Just a heads up about Made in Abyss movie 3 (the first two were recaps of the tv series) being released January 17th.
Right now there's not much to watch. The shows I followed fall 2019 have all finished their cour and who knows which ones will come back. I'm still watching Fate Grand Order Babylon but it's the most boring of all the Fate-series. Waiting for the next cycle of JoJo but there's no word if there will even be more of it.

New Season of Haikyuu just started, for anyone who is watching it. It is one of my fav anime series of past decade and imo the greatest sports anime ever, imo better than Slam Dunk, Tsubasa and even Ippo if it counts.

I tried watching it, but that romanticising the sport or whatever almost made me barf. Midget was jumping over the thingie in the middle and got an eyegasm from the view. Thats when i knew this was at the level of bad hentai games and just quit :/
