And then we have Squadron 42 which was supposed to be finished and released waaaay back.
Personally I've lost interest in this completely. I've got my early backer account for $10 and if it shows up in a playable/worthwhile fashion, fine. If not, byebye.

Really pisses me off, because what there IS right now, if you look past the (many...many) bugs, is actually looking very good. The lag is gone, and things are much smoother. The actual game framework would be pretty awesome, and the prospect of the missions that are available would be fun to play.
Unfortunately, as I have stated time and time again, is there is simply no possible way that a game of the magnitude that was originally sold, is ever going to happen. I can't see more than a couple more star systems being added, and some token missions, and then they'll be like 'right, that's probably enough, profits are dwindling now, we better actually release the game.
Such a shame, such a waste of resources, and obvious talent. Terrible management, questionable financial tactics and feature creep being used as a sales strategy will clearly doom this ...project into oblivion.
