The physic effects are the real star in this game for me, gfx don't really look that good if you consider the performance they cost. At least compared to recent capcom titles like RE2 and DMCV especially character models the main character looks atrocious. I mean that's obviously mostly down to the art direction but things like realistic looking skin for example go a long way for me, the game is also way too blurry and grainy which seems to be an engine thing i didn't play Quantum Break so i can't compare it to that but i remember Alan Wake looked much cleaner.
I agree. The graphics are pretty much damaged with all the bloom and blur all around the place. Its just too much of it. Without that shit, the game would have looked much better.
I'm now some 6 hours into the game and except the performance drops I loved every second of it.
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro | AMD Ryzen 5800X3D + be quiet! Dark Rock 4 | KFA2 RTX 4080 | 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 @3600MHz | Samsung 860 Evo 500GB + 1TB + 10TB WD Blue | Corsair RM750x | LG 27GL83A + LG 27GL850 | Fractal Define R6 | Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth | DeathAdder Chroma

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Does the shooting feel any better after the first 3 waves of enemies I just wasted? I'm sure the enemies and scenarios get more challenging later, but does the feeling improve?
Because in those first encounters it felt meh..
