Looks very interesting, but its Early Access and i've been bitten too many times to put down money for it.
It does look very interesting, but i'm the same as you with early access stuff. Some stuff i'm glad I funded early, like Kerbal Space Program. Updated regularly and devs were always around answering questions. However I've also funded stuff like Deep Space 9 and Castle Story
Castle story is still being developed but it's update cycle is slower than a dead sloth. As for Tim Shafter's DS9 he just took some cash and then in return stuck it in hard with no warning or lube to his customer base.
Star Sector does look interesting though, I'll keep my eye on it and see how it progresses. Cheers for the heads up.
Looks so much like a game that came out like 7-8 years ago that I cant freaking remember the name...you were a small ship and you had a space station with you that you could upgrade and all, also you have to mine ore (purple green and blue ores I think) to upgrade your ship and research new hulls and weapons...
aahhh damnit i hate not remembering the name of a game

Yup, I know the game you're thinking of and it was one of my favourites. I keep thinking "Flatspace" but it's not
I don't think it's on steam
OP said early access but it seems he didn't mean steam early access, just early access in general (purchasable alpha/beta/whatever)
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.

And previous poster is talking about starscape, not starsector (if I read it correctly )
Really like this guy's reviews. Entertaining and informative. Will definitely give this one a try once my finances stabilise. I mean he also liked Factorio and other good indie stuff, so I kinda have a bit of faith in his opinions.
Gotta buy it too i guess. Someone in the comments section said its like a mix of rimworld and kenshi (but with spaceships, obviously). that would clearly be a must buy for me..
at the end of that vid, Sseth gives his key out for people to play the game, obviously implying if you like it, buy it. Devs actually allowed him to do that. Really cool of them.
