Was looking for a tool that does the following:

-Copy an entire OS (W7, 10, etc) and all of it's files/settings/apps/windows updates/etc into a single file or whatever to be saved on a Pendrive or external HDD (USB 3.0)

-In case of PC formatting , use that image to recover the same saved contents back again

-Once recovered, everything goes back to where it last got backed up, without the need to reinstall apps

-Ofcourse, everything should work as it was working like before, with no need to relocate apps etc due to the possible SSD root location (C: for example)

-When doing the backup, for example, C: is copied to a single file in D: but C: will NOT get deleted after the process, so you can still work with it.

-How would the process of recovering an OS would work like?..

Any tool that does that without issues?

Macrium Reflect. I use it to clone my W7 partition with the aforementioned perks flawlessly.
