Geralt and Ciri are more than okey. That vision of Yennefer well I need to get used to it. I won't panic and scream what shit this show will be. I expect at least the same level as first season of Daredevil.

But still I would be happier if this would be done by HBO or maybe Canal+ because Netflix is turning it platform of mediocre shows and shitty movies Neutral

Fully agree and certainly for their movies, although they were mostly original IP where you could tell there was limited budget / risk taken. This is potential slam-dunk here with source material + an existing huge fan-base. They can certainly deliver on the visual / cinematic level, its just everything they have done has been style over substance/story/writing.

Just have to hope for non-hack writers and Sapkowski (i read somewhere he is helping with production of the series) keeping them on point.

The only thing that can kill this show, is not following the source material, ignoring it's eastern european influence, subverting expectations.

Anyway, in the books he's not described as clearly slavic or non-slavic, just that he's very pale and the face is very gaunt and thin and ridden with wrinkles. Many characters define it as unpleasant.
