yeah, if its possible to send money to someones Steam account (nothing i've used or looked into), then that's obviously way more safe.. can you do that? gift someone money? otherwise it wouldnt really work, or well, you would need two different credit cards..
but yes, if gifting money works then ; send money to the Argentinian steam account, buy games, gift games back. profit. a bit late now but i would recommend that if someone else want to try this... it was dumb to risk this, maybe im paranoid but..

What type is your card? VISA? I'm in region India in last like 3 years and i've been using my Bulgarian Visa card to buy games on indian prices and no problems whatsoever.

the mastercard is not the problem, it directly noticed my IP was no longer in Argentina and asked me to change store.

Hmm... that is strange. Did you actually change your store country successfully? Also you need to provide Address in your store country when you complete your purchase. Maybe this is your problem.

I bought an AAA title 4 days ago for 59.99, now it is on sale for 29.99
I've put over 2 hours into it easily.....odds of getting the difference back added to my steam wallet?
Anyone ever had success with this request?

LOL 17,3 GB for a remake of games which were like 700 MB in total. And they didn't even have advanced texture and audio compression back then.

Not odd, "normal". Steam for some reason partially logs you out sometimes. Games work and download, but you can't access your account details, store goes back to local currency, stuff like that.

Not sure where you're from, but if you're in EU you're entitled for the money difference back within 7 days.

Just start the "refund" process. They will credit the difference to you. I refunded a game that was three weeks old, but had 2 minutes of playtime. The website says it usually will not go through, but all of these requests (I imagine) are manually processed so just give it a whirl, especially with such a deep change in price.
