I have to agree with those that said it's lame The Adam actor was really bad too. I got similar vibes from this as I got from Disk Gently which I also kinda disliked so if you liked that one give it a shot.
I have VERY-VERY-VERY surface-level knowledge of Pratchett's works. I read the Nomes series a long time ago, and played the Discworld adventure games a little bit (was before I was fluent in english, and I was maybe 8-10, so it flew way over my head), and watched the Hogfather miniseries, which I kinda liked.
So I may not have full grasp on his kind of humor (which I hear is rather unique), but I enjoy this series quite a bit so far.
I for one watched all episodes and absolutely loved the show. It's absolutely my kind of show, love the humor, the characters, the britishness of it all... hehe!

... and yet when it was officially Satanists vs Sabrina the Witch production crew over Diablo statue no fucks were given
Both this and the sabrina are pr stunts.
No one gave a flying shit about good omens.
Heck there even was a survey going around if the targeted ads for good omens did anything for the user. Lol. Methinks the show is doing poorly and no one is really watching it. Tenant Dr who career is done (so to the tweens he's nobody) Sheen isn't know by lot of tweens.
Its a show you have to find to watch and people aren't bothered. Silly or stunt is all.

Well, that was outstanding.
Dragged a bit after the big finale, blew the load way too early in the last episode, but they tied up everything nicely in the end.
Loved the performances, especially Sheen and Tennant, but pretty much everyone gave 110% (except the kids, they were kind of meh).
I think the biggest mistake was the overuse of the narrator. This is a motion picture guys. Show, don't tell. I know faithfully adapting a book to film would be incredibly hard without at least some narration, but still. Felt a bit much.
Who in their right mind cast god/narrator as an american with a very straight voice. No, you baboons! You need a whimsical/satirical Brit to do that part. Especially that bit about what happened to the boy was totally not working because of how they played that role. I'm sure there's plenty more of that in the following episode's. :/
Crowley is a miscast as well. No he's not a shit actor, I just thought he wasn't doing a good job with the character. Or maybe the chemistry between the two wasn't ther... or both.
Hitchhiker's guide done dumbed down. Is the nicest I could say I guess. :>
Dunno if I can give episode two a chance really. Pretty sure the rest will annoy me as much as the pilot.
I wonder where they can take the story from here. If Gaiman is attached, that's great, I really hope they can somehow manage to preserve that Pratchett wit going forward.
i only watched this (S2) just now... my god what a clusterfuck...
apart from the forced gay romancing at the end (wtf) the whole silliness of the show which was charmingly protrayed in S1 was jsut plain dumb in Season 2..
i love Terry Pratchett and i like most of Neil Gaiman's stuff. The acting was good but everything else was just garbage.
