Of course like half of it are montages that differ for just a couple of seconds because of a different choice.
Meaningful footage is probably max 2 hours as you say.
Also make sure you use Edge if on Windows to get above 720p resolutions (or a Chrome extension which does that, not sure if it still works though.)

the worst series by a mile - and the first batch of episodes I genuinely haven't enjoyed. also the first series that I won't keep on local storage - already deleted in fact. what's happened to the chilling atmosphere/dystopia? why no more unsettling/disturbing endings? why do the eps all feel so shallow and...well...boring? Super disappointed with this season.
Out of the three episodes, imo the first is just about watchable, although even that rehashes a lot of stuff from several old episodes. the other two....less said about them the better.
last season wasn't that good but atleast it had a few good moments.
bandersnatch, good idea but in the end it was crap.
and now this season.
seen 2 episodes now and i think i don't even bother watching the last one.
what happened to this series???
it's the same writer and still good actors. i don't get it. just because netflix pushing money into this, it turns automaticly into crap like all other netflix shows and movies? why?

And there's your problem. Brooker needs to go. Each subsequent season feels more neutered because we've seen the exact same concepts 5 times earlier in the series, and the changes he is making to add variety are not good either.
That being said, I haven't watch the new season yet.. But:

Brooker isn't the problem here.
I think they tell him what subject matter to adhere to. I don't think he has full reign anymore on his own creation. A "queer fantasy" episode. Is the only one I watched and the only Brooker thing in it that remained from good black mirror episodes was the ending. Felt like the episode was written based on the ending alone. And it's just fluff. It's becoming more and more progressive and more safe than before. It's a shadow of its former self and I think it's Netflix holding it back. Heck when it came out I couldn't even find it on the front page. Had to download it cause I was annoyed with Netflix ui skimming through titles looking for it.
I haven't heard of a single creative saying Netflix meddled with their production. The only problem with Netflix is they cancel all the shows once they reach season 3 tops
I first got the impression Brooker was running out of ideas seasons ago, it's not a new thing for me. By season 3, the show already took a "Nosedive" and started repeating the same concepts. And that awful video game episode?
Bandersnatch was another attempt at making something different which I found the very definition of mediocre.
That being said. I'm currently watching S05E01 and I like it.

Bandersnatch I appreciated- he tried to do something different and make it interactive. No one else is doing that shit so I can give it a pass on the story being average.

uh have you seen hbo's mosaic from steven soderbergh?
anyway i dont understand the hype for this before release, its been shit even since it landed on netflix with maybe 1 good episode from each season, people seem to have mental problems and forget everytime only to get dissapointed after viewing then hyped again after the next season trailer
I just re-watched 'the entire history of you', 'national anthem', 'white christmas' and 'uss callister' to remind myself how good this used to be. needed to watch something decent after enduring series 5!
..I spoke too soon. I actually liked both of the first 2 I watched. So far so good this season! But there was something wrong with ep2's cinematography at times.

I've watched ep 3, this is the worst season yet for me. Am I the only one who thought these eps were rehashes of cliches? I assume some emotions were meant to be felt by me, but it's all so mundane. I can't believe this show evolved into this predictable crap. The only thing I liked was the first fight scene in the VR, that's it. At this point I'm watching the remaining eps just for old times sake.
