Fun so far. It is, as reviewers have suggested, seemingly 2001: A Space Odyssey, but I don't think it's quite as derivative as that (I mean all rogue AI are basically this then). I'm also not finding the controls of the UI clunky. Takes awhile to get used to but there is little hand holding and some of the puzzles are quite fun.

If you liked their other work, Stories Untold (and I did once I started to realize they were all connected), I think you'll like this offering. I suggest not reading any reviews or such about the game as the intro I thought was quite good.

Horrible mouse control of the sphere. Just... horrible. It's like the designers tried to make it the most unnatural and nonsensical control ever. Getting around with it was a constant inner fight between 'but I want to see what's next' vs. 'abysmal control makes me wanna instant quit'.

Starts grand, indeed, but after a short while you can sense a (slow) downfall. Some gameplay mechanics are tedious / not fun. At least for me, eh.

Probably the story is worth it, but I'm not sure I'll finish this.

So what's the deal with this virus in the release, is it safe to install? If it would be any serious or harmful, or anything besides a false positive, wouldn't the release get instantly nuked and proper'd?

Epic hate aside, that response was pretty good - especially considering how stupid the question was.

What a pleasant surprise this game was for me. The atmospere is on par with Alien Isolation which is quite an achievement. I'm not very fond of slow adventure games like this but the idea behind it itself felt so fresh that I want more of similar experience, afterall I'm a sucker for the space setting. Of course there are some flaws like controls (especially too slow camera movement) or some bugs (couldn't interact with a trigger once and had to reload a save) but I'll definitelly buy this when it comes to steam. 8/10

The battle between the immersion factor and the constricted AI camera simulator-based gameplay ended as a draw in my case, but it truly is a very atmospheric and peculiar game. All the distinct retro analog visual effects and details constitute pure sci-fi porn Very Happy, the presentation as a whole is impeccable (minus some tired faces which make you feel like you're onboard the Tempest). There are solid ambiance sounds and competent voice acting as well.

The straightforward puzzles/mini-games were more hit and miss for me, but there is never oppressive hand-holding and the gripping storytelling with its sense of mystery kept my interest.pc module plugged in till the end without any incidents.

There's no virus. An exe was uploaded to a board with viruses in it. It's not in the actual release so make sure you get it from a reliable source as always whether it's your preferable .torrent site or that threadmill gurl.

wrong, probably a false positive but that exe is in the oficial scene release no matter on where you get it, there is also a rip with the game installed and you can grab that

The "shit repack" is the exact same thing, only brought down in size by our fave spinning gurl who tend to put more time in her repacks than some groups cracks.

What kind of game is this, actually? Is it horror (jump scares, hide & seek shit) or more of a walking simulator with puzzles?

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

Woah, I didn't know that "something spoilery" in this game is based on a phenomenon that actually exists IRL :O

 Spoiler:

Good game overall, I really liked it despite a few unnecesseary puzzles. If you liked 2001: A Space Odyssey, I can recommend this for a spin.

Well, pretty unique idea at least.

What the hell are you on about? Name those tons of other games where you take control of an A.I then, assisting someone?

No need to jump into fallacies. You said idea is unique I remarked it is not and it isnt. I played Observation long enough before I got bored and it is no different that Experience 112 in core gameplay and idea.

That being said it is still incredible boring, tedious and just uninspiring.

I just played it (thanks to AMD for their XboxgamepassPC 3 months offer).

What a nice game, not too long but gameplay and scenario are excellent.
Really enjoyed every minutes of it.

So this game has been out for over 1.5 years and nobody ever noticed that the Sphere only moves smoothly at 50Hz? At any other refresh rate, it is stuttering. This is typical Unity Engine fail behaviour:

https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/default-fixed-timestep-value-is-set-to-0-dot-02-50hz-instead-of-0-dot-0167-60hz

https://answers.unity.com/questions/1290090/what-is-going-on-with-deltatime.html

Won't even bother reporting this to the devs but you are welcome to. Not a single topic about this anywhere. Sometimes I think I'm the only person in the world noticing this kind of stuff. Rolling Eyes
