Knowing Sly I've got the feeling that this is going to be just yet another step, I refuse to believe that there won't be a Rambo 6: Last Blood: Part II

Nah this is rambo retired on a desolate ranch in some deep desert and some hostiles come and take his daughter or wife and he has to rescume them but in the end finds out that as long as he lives his family will always be in danger so last shot is him riding off into the sunrise with his horse knowing he will die from the heat.
Think commando but rambofied.

I like the sound of that 
As long as the satisfying shooting 'n Ramboing around are there in all their gory glory and the tone isn't a particularly cheesy one I'm always on board, good old-school action will always have a special place in my quiver.

I think the first two are superior, esp. the first one. With #3 it turned real silly, with #4 it was an empty shell with tons of CGI-splatter. I have no hopes of this one being any different than #4 except setting.

Aye, was hoping for some gritty Sly and the tone seems to be the right one, John Rambo-style (hopefully!). The director has worked on Narcos also which is promising on paper. |

Fairly accurate, i do like R4.. the final 20mins has so much gratuitous over the top stallone bloodshed and gore, excellent viewing.
