I was surprised I couldn't find a topic about this flawed (the writing gets kinda stupid and soap operish in the second "season"\part), but entertaining show
Nah, we don't have a previous thread. madmax posted in last watched movie about it.
Yeah, this is a pure popcorn and entrainment show Very bingeable, I like it!

On a related note I'm on holiday in Mallorca and the producers of this are filming a new show, in collaboration with the producers of The Crown, in the villa next to mine. It's called White Lines.
Yeah, I'm getting Prison Break flashbacks... "We are finally out of the prison woo-hoo! Oh, wait, now we are locked in another prison..."
But now it looks even higher budgeted retarded stylized bullshit than the previous 2 seasons, so I'll watch it.

good stuff, watched like first 4 eps of se1 now without almost any skipping, a bit to much other gender emo blabla but ah well , ill take it, just to many people, to many stories.
How is season 3? I adored the first 2 seasons, but I don't expect a lot from season 3. The story was for me finished. Worth watching?
I enjoyed every minute of it, it's at least as good as season 1 and 2 which is surprising i didn't really think they could pull it off either but they definitely delivered.

Nothing has been removed (maybe a few seconds here and there as they were making the cuts).
You don't have to look for the original cuts. Netflix just felt the 70-minute long episodes were too long and recut them to make them shorter, thus making each season longer.
The Netflix-produced cuts of the episodes also make perfect sense how they are structured, they end in a cliffhanger, etc, it's not like they end them at random story points. It all feels natural.
And Season 3 is the first one to be produced by Netflix so I think it goes without saying that it is fully complete.
tl;dr Netflix episodes are not "cut", they are re-cut. It's not worth hunting down the originals.

I watched the first 3 episodes of Season 3 and it's definitely (for me) not as good as the earlier seasons.
The good part is the ridiculously high production values. Now, the first 2 seasons already had great production values (hence why the show became an international success), but now we have lighting and cinematography and even a bit of filming in exotic locations that can rival Sense8's looks. The show just looks ridiculously good!!! The Netflix money definitely shows on screen.
The bad part is so far they have failed replicating the "cat and mouse" game from the original, or the parts where you were surprised to learn The Professor had foreseen everything, etc. So far the plot is just "ok".
Furthermore, I think it's retarded they doubled down on the "WE ARE THE RESISTANCE" message. What the actual fuck. You are some robbers, stop pretending you are Robin fucking Hood.
It's not unwatchable, but it definitely feels like the show ended with season 2, and the only reason it was brought back was due to "popular demand".

I finished the 3rd season but it was quite bad.
Had to force myself after seeing the main characters align themselves with fucking antifa. I mean wtf The wet socialist dream The other wtf moment (also mentioned in season 2 i think) was the reasoning "we are not stealing from anybody". I mean, rly? They are heroes? I thought the show's characters aren't gonna black and white. It seems it's not even that, they are all white (well red actually, as everybody knows what this color is associated with).
Ignoring all above, the show went the wrong way just like Prison Break in S02. And it doesn't help that there seems to be even more telenovela levels of drama. The characters either cry or aim their guns at themselves (whenever the last one happens ).
Also, if Der Professor planned the first heist for so long and they trained for so long how the fuck do they just jump in (almost) and carry it out in S3?
Another show that should have ended gracefully but didn't.
I thought to watch this show until I checked out a clip where a girl in her underwear uses karate to escape from armed police and a helicopter sniper Would you all still recommend it?

Yeah. It's a good thing mixed with a trainwreck. not sure why but reminds of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain
Bizarre and stupid at times but still a nice show. Somehow the thing that bugged me the most technical-wise were really bad gun sounds
Season 3 wasn't too bad after all. Thankfully they stopped with the "we r de rezistanzzzzzzz" derpshit after a few episodes.
