Nothing is perfect to everyone. Especially to a millions of viewers... but we can always be sure for internet to hate everything. I am pretty sure, everyone would enjoy those things if internet did not existed and there was no easy way to see internet critique

It seems to me you didn't like the show's first 4-ish seasons then? Because the show was never really about dragons and high fantasy stuff. Its main selling point ànd the foundation of its success was actually to go against all fantasy clichés and tropes, and be a realistic, thinking man's show, centered around characters and dialogues.

From reddit. This shows how bad the writing is, you have to many soldiers, ups, here comes Euron to fix that hole plot for you oh yeah he also killed a dragon who else can do that, the supermega NK 2000 with one hit. It's like a shooting gallery out there.
Also those crossbows are more powerful than any cannons mounted to a ship or a torpedo, pathetic. Usa military should abandon cannons on ships and use meister crossbows instead.
If WW2 has taught us something, it's that it's almost impossible to hit a flying object from a Ship.
From the Bismark to Pearl Harbor to Taranto etc.
Because there is a major factor that most people tend to forget when it comes to sea battles, it's the movement not only horizontal but also vertically and side to side from the water.
But of course, Euron has no issue with this. Not only does he hit the Dragon 3 times in a row from a Mile away, but they then also totally miss the other one with a hundred spears lol.
It's like "let's do something impossible and then contradict ourselves while doing it".
EP 3 was abysmal, im someone that never had many issues with this show up until that EP, but we all know the quality has dipped from a few seasons back but nothing that ever made me stop and say WTF..
Im not gonna waste my time reviewing this show, theres thousands of ppl pointing out how flawed it is right now, but ill say this, its not about theories coming true, its about execution, i have no problems with the writers taking diferent directions to the one i imagined, but the execution is absysmal, its so bad.
EP4 wasnt as bad as 3 but thats not saying much, it was still absolutely terrible.
PS: I really liked EP1 and EP2, though, not without issues, they were fairly good.
It seems story telling was not the priority, they just wanted to make some spectacle that made no sense whatesover after allegedly "watching lotr" ye, not a chance, LOTR is not perfect, it has its issues, but man, its a thousand times better than this crap.

Have to agree with that. His character is bad and the way they rushed his attack in ep4 was... rushed

Ep 04 was better in my opinion than 03. (at least some intrigue again), and was narratively better.
Let's not compare this to the first sessions. Take it as it is. In this stage, a bad written story that I keep watching because I've watched all previous shit, so why not?
