I think it goes something like, VPN to the Russian store and login, add to basket and go to check out, checkout with Paypal and when you get to the Paypal website, turn VPN off and proceed.
Something like that. I think a lot here did it many years ago.
Unsure if there are any language issues. In the end I paid a bit extra and bought through Steam Argentinian store

Managed £19 from uncle Ivan. Thanks for the heads-up. Given that I didn't really enjoy it as much as 1404, I guess that's about the amount I'd pay for it anyways. Still a good game, but I believe grid-based city builders are just way too archaic and feel limited. Fingers crossed they ditch the grid in the next one. :/

FYI, you can play the game now with VPN.
Connect via Hong Kong, start the game, disconnect (game will lose connection and a couple of seconds later connect again).

Does the game have some tutorial of sorts? For those new with the Anno series (heard it can be a bit overwhelming at first).
Tropico 6 is fun, but way to easy.

) well it was a fun little beta (DEMO!) though some a-hole working class citizens kept rioting near the end demanding a church, only one that gets worshiped here is me the disembodied brother flying in the sky from one island to another as some omnipresent god-brother of the family.
