Set in the dark, early days of a zombie apocalypse, Black Summer stars Jaime King as Rose, a mother torn from her daughter who embarks upon a harrowing journey to find her. Thrust alongside a small group of American refugees, these complete strangers must find the strength they need to fight their way back to loved ones. Black Summer succeeds in delivering a relentlessly paced zombie drama that never stays in one place long enough for things to get stale. That’s helped by the fact that the season is only eight episodes, which is probably longer than it needs to be, but still doesn’t feel like its overstaying its welcome. For those who still can’t get enough of zombie outbreaks, Black Summer will be a fulfilling binge.

It was decentish. There was a lot of badly written\ridiculous scenes.

Most characters are pretty boring and not memorable.

Thankfully, most of them died Very Happy

PS The last two episodes were really short.(20+minutes)..wtf?

PPS Why do people in this show keep wasting a shit-ton of bullets shooting zombies anywhere except their heads? Laughing

I appreciate what they tried to do and it feels and looks different than the walking dead and K, but they really should have hired better writers...and actors..

this show is pretty bad..

Almost every episode all problems could be solved by merely calmly closing a door a character walks through.. its v. v. fucking annoying.

Do those writers not realize that it is fucking entertaining to watch competent people? I mean we watched a well operated hydraulic press, a guy in the woods collecting wood and building a house and garden from stick and stones, a lockpicking lawyer picking locks ... things we will most likely do not in person, but the fascination comes from observing someone doing something skillfully.

I want to see people fail even though they did everything right because of the dire situation and because you can't control all factors!
