That helped establish the scale of the world. Though I hated that sort of stuff like the whole skinning cutscene in the first game, but I guess after having to play all those open world games where you run into a point of interest / event every 20 seconds, it made me appreciate that sort of thing.

They made a ton off the GTA Online Sharkcards, so much so they didn't feel the need to make any proper DLC last time so I could see that being a big selling point for the lifetime exclusive if Steam was dinging them on any Sharkcard sales through ingame purchases (if these Epic rumors are in fact true).

Eh, stopped caring (and paying) about R* ever since the shit that was the GTA4 port and the bullshit that surrounded the release of GTA5's PC version (which was very good, credit where it's due).
So, if it ends up as an Epic exclusive?

Somehow found the game so boring. Yeah, the story is good but the pacing absolutely sucked along with the gameplay. Maybe because of the controller aiming but didn't have a good time playing this. And the online is 10x worse than GTA V.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Controller aiming? If you use the target lock all you have to do is basically aim and shoot.

Controller aiming? If you use the target lock all you have to do is basically aim and shoot. |

The boringness also comes from the gameplay systems in the game. It's big as an ocean, but shallow as a puddle.
You have ton of gameplay elements but nothing has more depth to it.

Auto aim is not the issue. This is just how shooting is in this game on consoles. The issue is horribly slow pacing. The game could learn a thing or twenty from new God of War
