|
 |
Hi,
following problem: I have a SHITTONNE of wallpapers...
Now I usually do sort by modification time, descending order, that means the "newest" wallpaper is first in the filelist.
Issue:
when I open a wallpaper using Windows Preview, it doesn't honor the current explorer settings, but ALWAYS uses sort by name instead (I guess, actually I'm pretty sure).
I remember on Linux I had a viewer that always shows images in same order like the filemanager (Gnome or Cinnamon I believe).
Question:
Is there an ImageViewer that automatically uses the explorer's settings for sorting?
And if NOT: is there an ImageViewer (free) that you can manually set sorting order?
Also... wtf is up with XnViewer? Is that payware now?? I thought there was at least one freeware version???

Windows Preview (the classic one, not the Windows 10 Photos app) uses the current Explorer sort when you press left and right.

Something is broken on your end. It does for me. Just tested. And this is how it has always behaved.
