which will never happen because complacency is what bethesda does best and they can't be arsed to invest in a new engine
Their whole business model is based on the mod community fixing and eventualy breathing new life into their game. I imagine the efforts of the mod community has had a huge impact on Beth's financial records over all these years. The Gamebryo engine and its tools are essential to this model. The only way to steer Beth away from this lack of effort, is for the mod community to stop what it has been doing for all these years (fixing and improving Beth games).
The only good thing about this is that Beth is basically forced to make big SP games now and then, since this model does not work with MP games.
Someone made a good video about this whole thing. I think it basically boils down to, that nobody at Bethesda actually knows how to code or anything. They just keep adding crap onto the Gamebryo engine and hope it won't totally break it lol.
Are they for real believing that BS, that crap game doesnt have that high playercount thats for sure. What a bunch of Idiots trying to make it look like this Game isnt a total mess.
