I pre-ordered and it's not bad the first time I played it. They need to work on the area where you send ships off to do various things (i.e. piracy) to gain income. I think it took too long to prep and execute those plans. Plus that screen and some UI need to be worked on which I think will be ready by release.

I was so confused with the Anno beta, I gave up. First time playing the series for me. But I do like the Tropico series. I can't wait for the Civ expansion too

Yea, if you never played Anno before, this beta had like no tutorial on how to build and manage things out correctly.

I'm really enjoying it, a lot to do even playing sandbox, and there is plenty of challenge unlike other games that reach a certain point and either get really easy, or really hard.
