Does anyone know a encoder program that will Convert ( Avi, Xvid ) to DVD format

i just encoded:
Queens of the Stone Age - Over the years through the woods.avi to DVD with Nero Vision.
so try that.  Nero Vision.

I already use that now, it just takes too long to encode it with vision, I was looking for something a little faster, but thank you for your reply

trying using SVCD2DVD V2.0...... google it..... you won't be able to find a crack or patch for this thou.... you have to pay $10 for the lifetime of the program but it is well worth it.... the quality is excellent and it only takes about an hour and 1/2 to 2 hours to convert an AVI movie..... give it a try you won't be sorry..... I have tried probably at least 50 different programs and this one is the best I have run across so far....

buy pc with 8GHZ and 12GB RAM I think it would speed up some work  |

This is the simplest and fastest i've used:Vsodivxtodvd
This is the freeware version,;there is a shareware version that does a little more. It's much faster than Nerovision IMO.
